Phone - Edit contacts bug

Whenever you try edit someone's name using the mouse control feature, your phone is stuck on your screen and are unable to get rid of it unless you relog.

Very annoying when someone you know either changes circumstances such as gang and you're trying to change their name etc and can't due to the bug^

For example I was trying to change someone's name from Aztecas to Coalition in my phone and the phone was stuck on my screen and had to relog

Not having any issues so might be a bit more unique to what's causing it.

Happens to me aswell. This has been happening to me for a while. Might be because of how many contacts i have, as PJ said.

I have all my contacts saved as [F] Name [GANG] Name if it is to any help.

I’ve tried reproducing this months ago.

Father Augustus went through all of his contacts once as he had the issue of it freezing and a need to relog. He went through one by one (crashing and re logging everytime) but managed to remove a character from one (can’t remember what, it wasn’t anything bizzare - a ‘ or -) and it fixed it. But, putting that exact character back in exactly where it was and saving it didn’t break it. Therefore I thought it might be down to how it saved that contact at the time. 
 

I’m on my mobile and our bug tracker isn’t mobile friendly but I’m certain this freezing bug remains in there unresolved and don’t think it’s related to the phone update.

@PJ Shinoda-Adamsto confirm this happened before the latest phone update?

Correct, I was unable to reproduce it so was unable to find the fix.

I have this issue too when editing contacts, but this happened before the update as well as now.

Correct, I was unable to reproduce it so was unable to find the fix.

I've now successfully reproduced it using @PJ Shinoda-Adams's contacts and have made a fix for what I believe is the cause which should be in an upcoming update.

Excellent news! This has now been fixed by the development team and will be released in a future server update.
