In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
Slight case of meta gaming, questioning the rules with an admin, <---short story.
Long story ----> (keep in mind this was a long time ago). I drove to drug dealer shortly after the server restart, in order to sell a small amout of drugs. after 2 mins of being at the dealer a cop car turned up, and promptly put me in cuffs, in role play style i asked how the police knew so quickly where the drug dealer was, the day had just began. As that would be a rather poor drug dealer if his location was known to the police. I asked to speak out of context and was given the go ahead, and i stated that it seemed to be a clear case of meta gaming and that was against the rules, and that especially the police should adhere to them. shortly afterwards the police officer called an admin by the name of JamZ to the seen, to which he informs me that the police officer had told him i had been meta gaming and not "role playing the situation". i explained the situation, but the admin wasnt having any of it, by this point 3 other police cars have turned up and i am not given 2 seconds to talk between them all telling me "you failed RP" etc. Further to this i remain silent as i expect to be sent to prison. That was not the case i was perma banned by JamZ, i forget the reason code given. Having only spent a short period of time on the server, i desided to cut my losses and start else where (Server Name Removed).
What have you been upto in the last 6 months+ ?
In the last six months i have played on a number of servers, but the primary one has been the Server Name Removed server, where i have been an active member of the APC (Altis Police Constabulatory), i have also been apart of the HATO, which is basically the AA or RAC of that server. Both roles have had me representing the server, there rules and there code of conduct. I still have an active character on there server, but have gotten to the point where there is no need to progress that character beyound rebeling against other players, and that is not my prefered avanue on these servers. apart from that i have been playing games such as squad, ARMA KOTH, and have even enjoyed a short stint as a pilot on the 77th JSOC server, with no gripes towards my piloting ability.
Why do you want to return ?
My main reason for wanting to return to this server in plain honesty, is the fact that my brother has recently found your server and has joined the police force (pual kirk). Although i may not endevour to join the police i still wish to be in the same game as my brother as we live so far apart it is the only time we can spend together really. Also as stated above my character on the Server Name Removed server is beyound my ability to carry on as the rebel life doesnt suit me.
Why should we unban you ?
I believe i was unjustly banned by JamZ, with a culmination of him or the officer twisting the truth of the situation and the presence of other officers who were no involved in the situation weighing into the issue. I also believe that my knowledge of the inner workings of these kind of servers has greatly increased with my work on the Server Name Removed server and i believe (tooting my own horn) you dont get into the inner workings of a role play server I.E. APC and HATO, without being a solid representation of the rules and decorum expected by the senior staff. I also think that one year out, is punishment enough for almost any dispute IMO.
