In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
(This is the original unban appeal ) ^^
I was banned because I made a complaint on the fourm and I did it in the wrong way. I had all of the good intentions in me but they way I went about it wasn't the right way . The reason why I say " good intentions " is because I knew at the time a lot of other people had similar views to me but no one would do anything about it. The only way to fix the problem was to make people aware of it and at that time I was very angry and annoyed ( especially since I was going through a very low part of my life ) so I made that thread. I understand that to make a new fourm account was wrong and it should of been handled differently on my part and get some actual evidence to base up my views and talk to people and maybe message admins to get the situation resolved. I was the only one with the courage to right a post that I knew could potentially get me banned , I understand now that it wasn't really the content of it but more of the way that I did it. But generally i wanted to raise an issue so it couldnt get fixed and therefor so more people could enjoy themselves. I was the whistle blower in a sense.
What have you been upto in the last 6 months+ ?
In the last 10 months in my case I have continually playing arma , sat my GCSE's, making new friends and trailing other community's. Throughout this time i have been actively trying to get unbanned. On my last report i'm pretty sure it was close to the day were I could re-apply. Showing how I want it. I have be consistently bugging my friends who still play this community to try and help me get unbanned. Now theses people are pretty well set up on the server and willing to vouch for me as they know what i'm truly like. A good guy. They also agree that what I did was stupid as hell. Also through my time I have been in the NHS , Police on other servers , head of gangs , even a staff member. I do actively seek to play roleplay servers to their fullest and am experienced in almost every role there is !
Why do you want to return ?
I would like to return because this was the first real server I ever played when I started playing Arma proplerly. Ever since that ban I have been trying to get back to this server desperately ! I have many friends who play this server and they tell me whats going on and its sounds awesome ! I really want to come back to the server and play with a server with all of my friends. Also get back to my roots in a sense. I have went through tons of communitys on Arma now and non quite beat the community that this server has. This is why I want to come back and no community beats the roleplay that this server has and its very very fun to play on and have some great roleplay.
Why should we unban you ?
Firstly , I want to address the previous reasons I have been denied.
" Part of the GC children " - Granted I was in GC for a long amount of time around 6 months i'd say. Also I know how they know they would take every chance to knock this sever I game. But I never really took an active role in that. Granted originally I watched what they did and had a good laugh about it but that was just stupid. I since no longer play with GC , I have a few of members still on my steam but its been well over a month since I still spoke to one of them. I also have evidence of being removed from the GC whatsapp group . I grew tired off GC in the end. Origially it was good , ex community banned members having something in common and it was my back bone as when I was banned I was like a lost fish didn't know anyone from other communitys. They took me in and we're just my mates. Overtime I saw that the company I surrounded myself with wasn't the greatest of company and that the majority of people in it were very toxic.Despite this there were a good laugh to be around and good arma players , also great characters ,hence why I stayed so long. I have since moved on and changed the way I view that. Also I previously had the opportunity to come back to the community if i was no longer a member of GC of which im not anymore.
"6 fourm accounts " - So this one is basically view to the fact I forget what my username and password is. I forget my username because over the 10 months i've tried communitys from Milsim to takistan. Requiring you to sign up to a lot of forum accounts. So hence why I have a lot. Also a good amount of those fourm accounts were originally banned so I had to make new ones due me adding to my appeal / making new ones. I have I think just one I used to serf the fourms. See what my friends were up to and check a few things out as I still actively wanted to get unbanned.
So the reason why i should get unbanned is because its almost been a year since my ban , I've still always wanted to try and get back to this community. I have definitely learnt from my mistakes over the time and went through a journey and i like to think i'm coming to the final part. I could add a lot to the community , I've got tons and tons of experience on other servers and could bring all of that over here to help improve it as best as possible. Ontop the people as i've mentioned before that I mainly had ago at have been removed from the community, I belive the admin i mainly target got removed for being " corrupt " or so I heard and the gang for cheating. Im not 100% if this is true tho. Anyway i've had members of TI openly tell me that I was !00% right in what I said at the time and they do agree with me. There is no real anger between me and TI as I have quite a few mates in there too and have even played with TI before myself. I tried to do my best at raising a problem with good intentioned but it didnt end to well.
Ontop I'd really like to just been given the opportunity to explaint he entire situation in great depth over teamspeak as i think that would help a world of good. You could ask me questions about certain things and we could go into a lot of detail so hopefully you guys can see what I saw and why I did what I did. Also you can get a real feel for what im actually like over the forums as its just words. Maybe if I could get to talk and put into a teamspeak you guys could see the real me that my friends are willing to put the neck on the line for.
Also about my friends. I've got friends willing to vouch for me on being a nice , genuine guy that wouldn't ever risk my potion on the server again. Surely that prove that they have that much faith in me that I'm actually not half as bad as im made out to be.
Also I never had previously got banned or any form of warning point on my system showing that I was indeed playing by the rules and had no real intention to cause a problem for the server. It just sort of happend. I had even been recommend for roleplay before !
Personally i have many reasons to why I should be unbanned or maybe be given that opportunity to talk it out over teamspeak. I believe that talking it over teamspeak will do more good then a thousand unappeal requests. To be given that opportunity I would be very grateful.
