In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.

Well basically me and my friends were having fun as a gang ([TCK]) i dont remember what we were doing its been a year but i remember a guy with a mask that killed me without roleplaying he just straight up walked next to me and shot me while i was trying to rp with him. I then got mad because i lost all my gear and stuff but as soon as i sended that chat msg i realize it was my friend and it was all good. I was mad at him at the time but i got over it after couple of seconds . When he saw that msg on the chat he told me about it and said "its all good man i comp you". Then me being "smart" wanting to joke with him in a serious server that its chat is been monitorized with admins i said the at the time popular phrase "c u on forums".. Big mistake that got me banned. I really didn't mean it, and i am doing the best i can to get back on this server which was the reason i bought arma in the first place...I am aware that this is a serious roleplay community which i definitely do want to be a part of .

What have you been upto in the last 6 months+ ?

I took a break from gaming. I focused on my school grades and exams which i had at the time and i manage to secure myself some straight A's. Honestly i am grateful for the ban. It got me to realize how cool life is in a very important time period. Moreover I have found myself enjoying the little things and taking exercise seriously which caused me some temporary damage in my ankle which means i cannot run or move in general. Doctor said i am going to have to rest for at least a month or so and i am lucky because if i did continued running this would have caused a permanent damage or even worse had my leg completely not functioning.(this happened a week ago while i was trying to complete a marathon i have only managed to run 23.5km because of the pain..).

Why do you want to return ?

As i said previously in the section "What have you been upto in the last 6 months+ ?". The fracture in my ankle is not allowing me to move or do anything for the next month or so. Basically walking for more than 5 minutes its like 'someone is hitting my leg with a hammer' so I have to sit all day which really sucks. So that made me think if i sit all day at least i should be having some fun like the good old times i was playing in this server that had me sitting for hours without me knowing it, i was having fun and i really do miss those times. This server is without a doubt the best thing i have personally found in Arma 3. All I am asking is for another chance to travel back to the Altis island and meet new people and if i am lucky maybe join the NHS again.. I am not asking you to feel sorry for me and unban me but to give me a chance to come back to Roleplay.co.uk to meet new faces and say hi to old.

Why should we unban you ?

Honestly I don't even know why you should unban me. I am probably the worst player in this server i have so many reports which makes me feel 'embarrassed' and think i must really 'suck' in this game but at the end of the day is about enjoying the little things. And this server is not 'little' is a community that i love and certainly seeking to join and be part of again. I am willing to do anything to join this beautiful community again. And I hope that you will at least think about un-banning me...

I must say the process I have when dealing with player reports is to have a little background check of the person before dealing with their appeal, one of my steps is to check their forum profile, in regards to this I'm sure you know what I'm about to say... Your profile is full of appeals and reports? I'm not one to say if you've changed or not however I don't see anything constructive or beneficial to the community that you contributed towards via the forum side anyway?

You was unbanned in the past I believe after being banned for "too many reports for RDM" I won't base this to much on this appeal but it is defiantly an eye opener. However I agree, people go in the heat of the moment when something doesn't go their way and make a silly remark in side chat. 

The thing i need to know here is, what reassurances do I have that you aren't that type of player anymore? 

 
I have done many stupid things in the past. I am not going to lie I do feel embarrassed for the things I have said and done in this server, things that made me feel and look immature and dumb. Looking back in the reports I had is indeed an eye opener for me as well.

Since I can't mention any proof from other servers for the quality of my RP, I do assure you that it has improved dramatically and the only way of you seeing this is by testing me without me knowing it.

I have been banned for RDM in the past, as soon as I got un-banned I promised myself I am going to take this very serious since I didn't want to get reported in the following 3 months which will have caused me a 6 month ban. I even got to the point I didn't even carry a gun on me (while doing runs to make money) and played on this server just do have a good time Role Playing with people meeting new faces. When things got bad and not the way I wanted them to, meaning my in-game character died, I did made a silly remark in the side chat. My screen said that I got kicked, I immediately wanted to talk to admins and tell them that it was just a misunderstanding and a joke that I did to my buddy. I joined the Team Speak server where an admin told me 'it's all good and that I should be able to rejoin the server'. I thanked him but I didn't try to rejoin since it was late at night until the next day when I logged in it said I was banned and from now on the situation ended up here. ( I forgot the name of the staff member that told me this it has been more than 6 months.)

What I am trying to say is that I have changed a lot and this 6 months ban helped me realize how much I like this server and its community. I hope and wish i will never make anything that will disappoint anyone again in case you let me come back in the island. I have read the rules again and again in case they have changed and some of them did. I will try my best to give back and be the nice guy that everyone wants to hang out for some hours of gaming by achieving a high quality RP and controlling myself anytime things get out of hand.

You seemed to see it all as a bit of a joke and even had the balls to be cocky about how you didn't get a warning point in spite of basically breaking forum rules. It's been a while but have you really changed since then? You make it out like it was just a joke towards your mate but your attitude on the forums speaks volumes.

So, convince me you have changed. What will you do if you are allowed to return in terms of your roleplay / factions you will join (if any) and so on. I want to see that you really care about this and that I can trust you. Impress me.

 When I was a member of the community I did many silly things that made me and still do make me feel foolish and embarrassed. Looking back on the reports that people made about me I have realized that I was indeed ruining their experiences and breaking the rules and it has been an eye opener for me. I apologise for the immature and to be honest rather ignorant activities I participated in when I last played on this server. I hope that you can give me another chance for I think that I have matured in the last year and I believe that I can bring something new to this RP community.

When it comes to the Role Playing Activities, I have changed a lot, as you can see from my previous reply that was posted at 6th of June

I have been one of the oldest members of "The Copper Kings" they said I am welcomed back in the faction if I let back into the island of Altis. I am not very sure what I am going to do with my life(in-game)if I want to rejoin one(faction) since it was the main reason that  lead me to performing illegal activities leading me to flaming when things went wrong. I have noticed that a lot of the things have changed as I saw from the Live streams. I will for sure Role play my way into getting a hostage thing that looks like a fun way to RP and meet new people. And most certainly try rejoin the NHS since I always wanted to help people in need doing the best I can to balance the death rates in Altis. If it happens to do something illegal I am not going to lie things do escalate very quick in this server I will at least give the other person a good RP worth of his time spent.

Since I can't edit the last part because I do not like the syntax I will repost it correctly. ( yes i am quite a perfectionist...)

I also had the chance to see how other people RP threw the livestreams and I will definitely try and apply those tactics since it looked very enjoyable. Okay.

I think it's safe to say that due to your past you could potentially be a gamble to give you another chance. 

However I think I can give you a chance but feel more confident unbanning you under terms. Due to you having bans previously for RDM, you are a guy who need's to prove that you are here to actually Roleplay to your full potential. I highly advise you join the NHS, not necessary but if you are willing to make a good impression upon having another chance I highly suggest that route.

Normally after a permanent ban your record will normally start again however I propose these terms due to player history;

If you find yourself banned in the future; 

  • 1st Ban - 1 month until you can appeal
  • 2nd Ban - 3 months until you can appeal
  • 3rd Ban - Perm. 
This may seem harsh but I'm sure you agree a player who got banned for too many RDM reports is shocking so these precautions are put in place, this is your chance to prove you are here to roleplay, do you agree / accept?

 
I do agree 100% , thank you for giving me another chance i will try my best not to disappoint you or myself again . I will for sure apply for the NHS since I have encountered an amazing quality of RP by its members..
