In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.

I was banned for discrimination against a women on the server.

What have you been upto in the last 6 months+ ?

I have been mainly rping on DayZ and i have also been developing my own open world survival game for the past month now, i do have college and a part time job too.

Why do you want to return ?

I want to return for the fact that i have missed not being on the server, i realise now i have changed my ways and what i did was completely innipropriate, i dont want to be known as a bad person i dont want to have enemies on this server. I want to return as RPUK is the best i could find closest to rp engagement and interacting with other people. I have a lot of friends that play this server and say it improves everyday, and i want to be apart of that experience. All i wanted to do from the start is to help this server become apart of the community and help out. Sadly i backed myself into a bad corner and it got worse up until the point that i got perm banned. I realise now that i want to return because overall i did miss this server the community and the people i played with. I have also been in contact with shaferz and he has helped me build my confidence to come back and appeal.

Why should we unban you ?

I think that i should be unbanned from the server because i know that i have changed my ways, i have gone out got myself a job and also im studying at my local college. Back when i played the server i was only still a young kid, i was around 15 years old and i know back then i made a lot of stupid mistakes that lead to situations such as this. What i did to that women was completely innipropriate and im glad the staff team dealt with me the way they should of. If it wasnt me in this position and it was someone else i would want the same thing to happen to them as what happened to me. I cannot really say much to why i should be unbanned because ill be lucky if i even get unbanned. But i can prommise this, i am a changed person i have matured drastically and working at a part time job and studying at college has made me realise that i now need to mature up stop messing around and act like an adult. Next year im 18 years old and thats when shit starts to really kick in. Im not the type of person that discriminates women, from the start when i first got banned i never really thought i did anything wrong, but now taking a step back and looking at the situation i feel sorry for the person i did it too, i should of just appologised and said im sorry hopeing that she would of forgived me.

At the time, i didnt realise i was doing anything wrong i was only having a joke, i didnt see the ooc message she put. If i did i would of stopped. Now it has gone this far and i look back at the video i realise i did something wrong and over these past few months i have been reading the rules to make sure this will never happen again. I did try talking to her when i was banned but she was to sad/angry. All i wanted to say was sorry and that i didnt realise i made you upset.

You should be ashamed, very ashamed even to the point where you didn't appeal at all because this community and its players will not put up with people like you as we recently again announced in the October newsletter:



We can forgive people especially if they make an apology to the person they effected or if that person is not here then donate to a similar charity based around the subject.

However if your case you haven't been up front have you.... you've left out a very serious part of when you was banned you was Impersonating other members on our teamspeak to advertise a new community.

Like to explain that one ?

To be honest i didnt even realise i was banned from the teamspeak? I never joined after i got banned from the discrimination, at least i cant remember i was banned from the teamspeak, i assumed that when i was banned for discrimination, i was banned from the teamspeak as well. So i dont know what impersonating is about but i cant remember impersonating anyone? Otherwise i wouldnt of left it out, if i knew that i was certainly trying to impersonate someone i would of mentioned it. Of course when i tried appealing for the perm ban as i didnt realise it was, i got banned from the forums so i couldnt really see anything i was banned for.

About what you said about the newsletter and that you dont want people like me here. Im truely not a bad person. I really didnt do it on purpose. Me and the person i did it to... i thought we were friends i patrolled with her on patrols a fair bit. After i realised she was upset she didnt want to talk about it, i did try to approach her and ask her to talk about it, but she was too upset like i explained. I am truely upset that i upset her and im very angry at myself about it. Truely because i really didnt mean to hurt or offend anyone. I truely thought it was just a joke as i knew the person fairly well, i will now be more careful on how i joke around with people.

@Wilco I had a look through some old logs and unfortunately (in my wisdom) I never saved a screenshot of the advertising so I might struggle to give any particularly insightful details.

Based on my notes + memory, a person joined the teamspeak server under the name "Sassy" in an attempt to look like a member of police academy at the time and spammed a message to various people advertising the community they were playing on since being banned. The person then changed their name to "FDGA" and stopped.  I issued a teamspeak ban at the time.

As is often the case, people who do that sort of thing can probably be IP matched with the forums and the ban still includes an IP address which our records still show was the only one you've ever logged on our in game server with for over a year.

I hope that's at least remotely helpful, but July is a bit long ago for me unless I have more extensive notes.

So @AfrezApix i went looking for your IP on the forums that you used on the forums on the day your last appeal got denied, and i found a teamspeak ban for that IP with the following message:

I don't think you are going to get any further here unless you cut the bullshit and come clean, so care to explain what the hell you thought you was going to achieve ?

 
i mean how long ago was this ban because i dont remember using the name sassy? or FDGA as quoted by tom the doge, like i said i didnt even know i was banned from the teamspeak because i never joined it? I mean if you have no proof for the spam or advertising does that mean i still get accused of it? All i remember is just getting banned for discrimination because how could i forget, it was the most serious thing i have ever been banned for. But i assure you @Wilco i am not trying to bullshit anyone, i really dont even remember trying to do that. If you posted it on my unban appeal i couldnt see it because at the time i didnt have a different account only the account i got forum banned on.

 
Your not doing yourself any favors here so lets try again as YOU don't seem to be getting anywhere.

Your new community (well... you say community but 10 players doesnt make a community) you was joining/being part of/setting up which you decided to advertise here, care to admit its name and your role and why the hell you thought of advertising it here

BTW this is your last chance, I know more than i am letting on just to warn you... so its now time for answers!

You know what... too many people come here thinking they can advertise and on top of that your sexual harassment which you just think is a joke and then there is the whole innocent playing dumb approach.

I think i am wasting my time investing time in this appeal so its moving to denied, I understand we are not the only community you advertised in and tried to steal stuff from are we Bradley / Rustrekts / Apex or whatever other name you call yourself these days.
