In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.

I was banned 6 months ago through actions I wouldn't repeat again as I have learnt the hard way.

From what I can remember, I was banned due to my arrogance and stubbornness of non stop arguing with Vlad on his stream which was inappropriate. I felt that what happened with the situation in-game was unfair, and instead of me being mature and waiting to resolve in a time where it doesn't affect others, I made the error to take action by going to Vlad's stream and disrupt his work. This was purely my fault.

What have you been upto in the last 6 months+ ?

I decided to use the time to take a break and learn from my mistakes, rather than continue being stubborn thinking I was in the 'Right' and finding another server. I haven't actually had contact with ARMA 3 much in general since I was banned, apart from the occasional game of battle royale or something.

I checked up on the community every now and then, such as browsing and posting on the forums, going on TS, etc. As I have many friends still playing on this server.

Why do you want to return ?

I want to return so I can go back to enjoying real roleplay with mature players, and continue meeting new friends and creating new experiences, hopefully benefiting the community.
 

Why should we unban you ?

I feel I have changed my behavior and I'm ready to re-join the community, and playing on my favorite server again with my mates.
I hope I am allowed to prove I am mature enough for the community, as I feel I am.

I will give you the benefit of doubt here, can you explain to me what happened leading up to the point in which you went on to Vlad's stream?

Me and my friend Louis was doing a diamond run when we were being robbed, however, we managed to kill them, without realising Vlad was watching on stream.

So then my friend sent me a screenshot of the streams chat, where Khan was speaking badly of me, and saying I'm always boderlining the rules all the time when killing and in RP. So I messaged the chat in game and said Khan to stop talking bad and to stop trying to wind me up. Where he then accused me of apparently watching the stream the whole time whilst playing. Which in fact I didn't view the stream until I died because our van was ambushed, which was why I accused Invictia of Stream Sniping. 

So Vlad saw what Khan said and threatened to blanket ban our gang. Which made me angry at the time, leading me to the stream and arguing my case, when I should of left it and not of disrupted Vlad's stream, which I'm sincerely sorry for.

So this lead me to a ban for "Causing Drama"

In regards to Kahn messaging the chat speaking about you, can you not think of a different way you could of resolved it? I'm sure you're aware that Vlad has the luxury of streaming admin cam for everyone's entertainment not for arguing. 

Before I investigate your past is their any prior bans you have had before this event?

I know and I learnt the hard way. I should of not argued, and instead taken it elsewhere to prevent disruption, which I unfortunately failed to do. But in future happenings, I will behave differently and accordingly to the rules. 

And yes, I was previsously banned before when I was new to the server for about a week, where I was immature with the way I spoke in side chat which led me to a ban, however was quickly resolved through my apologies and the fact I was new. Therefore I personally find this event invalid for up to date behaviour and attitude as I can assure you im mature enough for the adult community I was once in and wish to rejoin with.

You're right, some bans may be invalid for different reasons. However I wanted to have a brief background check upon your time here in our community. Looking into your chat logs via RCON, I can see a number of arguments that was back and forth between you and Khan at the time. Regarding your replies to this appeal I see a lot of people are liking your comments and supporting you throughout this appeal which shows me people are willing to welcome you back in the community, this is my best interest to ensure that the community are willing and happy as well as the staff team to allow you back without any problems occurring in the future.

In addition to this, if something similar like this was to occur again how would you handle it and are you willing to follow the rules and not cause any problems in the future?

I can assure you my approach towards resolving issues has changed since the previous mistake(s) I made. I understand instead of causing an argument which ends up nowhere whilst risking bans, it's better to take a mature approach which stays within the guidelines for the server.

I believe when playing in a role play community, and especially this adult community, for it to be key to show respect to others and not to take things personally otherwise it ends up like a playground shout off, which is just a disruption for everyone.

For example a way to prevent arguments in future situations, when I am having a 1 to 1 conversation to resolve a conversation and it seems there's a possibility of it getting heated, I will message a member of staff to possibly get someone to just over-look the talk, allowing them to keep things controlled.

I wouldent of wrote this appeal If I didn't think I was ready. So I want to have a chance to proove myself, as I believe the community seem accepting of me coming back.
