In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.

I was banned for being caught up in a blanket ban revolved around the KET gang. As far as I am aware, there were events of RDM and VDM being taking place and it was just getting to the point where it was looking like enough was enough for the gang hence the blanket ban being put in place.

What have you been upto in the last 6 months+ ?

The duration of the time of me being banned hasn't been 6 months+ but during the time of having the ban being put in place I have spent the majority of my time playing Player Unknowns Battlegrounds with other friends of mine.

Why do you want to return ?

Because I have always been someone who will put Roleplay UK first before any toxic person who I have come across. I have never been one for acting toxic or racist in the slightest and I personally find this type of behaviour completely out of line. I have been a constant playing member of the community and this is literally the ONLY community I would play on Arma that is related to roleplay. I will be completely honest yet again and say that I know I haven't been perfect in the past hence my previous muck ups and I know I should of known better to not get caught up in a circle that contains characters with god awful behaviour. I really enjoy roleplaying and there is no better place on Arma than this community. I refuse to join a copy and paste version of Roleplay UK and I hope that I can continue to play with some of the best roleplayers that I have come across within this community.

Why should we unban you ?

(I am going to just follow up from my previous denied appeal instead of completely going around in circles with what I typed up on the previous appeal) So I previously appealed over a week ago which was unfortunately denied due to my form of association with James Blezard and his KET TeamSpeak. I am going to get straight to the point right now and say I have completely severed ties with James Blezard by unfriending him from my Steam friends list and also I have decided to just separate myself from the KET gang by deleting the KET TeamSpeak entirely from my bookmarks. I am now fully aware of James Blezards actions and what he has decided to do especially his disgusting comment he made to Nalurah who I am good friends with and may I just say, I would like to apologise to Nalurah for actually being in that TeamSpeak with Blezard. The only reason James Blezard was added to my friends list in the first place was because he needed to send me a friend request to join a CSGO match and quite a few others were playing as well. The CSGO game that took place wasn't that long ago. I was only on his friends list since last week. I have not been on James Blezards friends list long term whatsoever and I never considered myself close to him at all.

Please confirm this unban request is for you.

Naylor,

Where do we start.

I'm going to out and say this, the one thing I'd say which slightly concerns me is that you are really over passionate. I don't necessarily thing this is such a bad thing however I believe this is something that causes you to overlook situations and not always provide the best outcome.

I know a lot of the staff team regard you as someone who does roleplay and can roleplay to a great potential however always let yourself down with something so stupid.  You say you always put RPUK first over any toxic person, what was the initial reaction to receiving the ban other than jumping on their teamspeak with people going around RDM'ing?

At what point did you cut ties with James?

Hi @Drew and thank you for getting back to me.

So I'll first start off by saying this.. I completely 100% agree with you that I haven't done myself any favours in the past. I mean at the end of the day, I've got to be honest with you on that one otherwise I'd just be a straight liar.

Now as far as my reaction is concerned, as soon as I logged onto my PC for the first time on the day that the blanket ban went out, I must say that I was heavily disappointed with the members of the gang BUT I was also disappointed in myself for not opening my eyes. Steve (my good friend within RPUK) alerted me that trouble would possibly be on the horizon for the Ket gang and I somewhat saw where he was coming from. I was just stupid not to act as quickly as possible so I didn't get caught in any of their mess such as this blanket ban. It was one of those feelings where you could just kick yourself in the leg.

Now as for James Blezard.. I made sure he was wiped from my Steam as soon as I realised he was the reason that was jeopardizing my place within Roleplay UK and also the disgusting comment he made towards Nalurah. The thing is, James Blezard wasn't a friend of mine and I know that sounds stupid to say the least considering the fact that he was on my Steam friends list. The only reason he was on there was just for a CSGO invite. I care more about my place here than hanging around with toxic folk like him hence him being removed from my Steam friends list and also removing that toxic infested TeamSpeak.

Apology accepted Naylor, I know you won't say stuff like that about anyone.
As for the appeal, you have made quite a name for yourself over the past few weeks since leaving the police with roleplay not always up to the standard we would like to see.

It is common practice almost that police who turn rebel run a little wild and we have yet to find a way to stop it. How do you think this common occurance could best be stopped? And how would you stop it within yourself?

Hiya @Nalurah

In all honesty, I think the most important thing into making sure that when it comes to rebel life and making sure you are not taking things to the extreme is who you are playing with. I think its always best to mix things up as well and when I say that I mean playing as a civ AS WELL AS playing as a rebel. I would say that's the best advice to those who are ex-police moving over to rebel life. I would say if you are doing nothing but rebel life, you can tend to get carried away like I did and as I have said, it didn't help with who I was playing with. I think my best course of action would be to stick to the people who I know are better for their roleplay and never put myself in the position that I did ever again.

I would suggest in future you look into the type of people your teaming up with and look into the type of roleplay (in this case there wasn't much) the gang is doing on most of its interactions.
