In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.

I was banned as the staff member at the time was 100% sure that i had combat logged on purpose where in fact my internet had disconnected and he would not let me explain to him the whole story, although it is still partly my fault i still believe I should have been given more trust in the situation.

What have you been upto in the last 6 months+ ?

Since my ban around 7 months ago, I have just been trying different games and got myself into a bad gambling addiction through csgo which has been an ongoing thing for me to try and stop and I keep on going back, usually if i pick up a different game and enjoy it I won't go near that for a while so I have been trying to play Arma again as it was a game I thouroughly enjoyed however this is the server that I had played for atleast 90% of my hours

Why do you want to return ?

I want to return as i remember the community was strong and i enjoyed the strict roleplay policy, I also had a resonable amount of money and most of the licenses and I like to help other people out. I also just got my friend to buy Arma and I really want to take him onto your server so I can show him the fun parts of the game.

Why should we unban you ?

I believe you should unban me as it has been over half a year now and my internet has since improved and other than that one incident of when i was banned for accidentaly combat logging, I had always stuck by the rules role playing 100% and I would love to join your community again! Thanks.

Hello,

To start of with, I think you have to look at it fro our perspective here as a staff member, and realise how many times that people use the excuse about their internet. It happens on the daily, especially when players who have had a stable connection all day and upon coming into a combat situation mysteriously lose connection.

However, It has been over 6 months so I'm willing to dispute this appeal with you and see if you can convince myself and the community that we should allow you to play here again.  

I can easily investigate however i would like you to inform me, have you had any previous bans before this one, if so can you expand on them.

Hi sorry for the late reply, I have never had a ban before this one and this server was the reason I bought arma in the first place, I made sure to thoroughly read the rules upon entry as i knew it was a strict server with a very well presented community which I wanted to be part of, I realise that you have a lot of people using connection issues as an excuse but from the day I made my first appeal the staff members dealing with it instantly labled me as a liar and said something along the lines of that if i told the truth I could be unbanned but since im lying I cant..  If i were lying i would tell you however I am sticking by my word, at that time I was having connection issues, from now on if you approve this appeal I will record everything, I have upgraded my whole setup since then and my internet has improved and i can assure you I will never cause any problems in the future, thanks.

Since my opinion on the rule break in question, the fact I find it hard to believe about the internet drops I stated I'm willing to give you a chance. Can you explain to me in regards to the rule combat log and other rules.

Why is it important that we enforce a strict set of rules in a roleplay community, and what effects do they have on others?

Thanks, I beleive we should enforce strict rules in a roleplay community as it keeps the server to its full potential/purpose by allowing everyone to have a flawless experience in the roleplay community, by combat logging it can ruin the experience for others as it is clearly not a thing that would happen in a real life scenario and i understand this server should be treated that way.
