I was automatically banned for breaking rule 1.2 after I said "The real hustlers on this server get up in the real nibba hours" (approximate paraphrase), in a conversation in sidechat about why myself and others get up so early in the morning to grind.
What have you been upto in the last 6 months+ ?
I am making this appeal only minutes after my ban, please continue reading to understand.
Why do you want to return ?
I want to return because I have played on this server for so long I can hardly imagine never playing here again. I have been on this server for two years (I was not active while I was away for boarding-school), and I have made so many wonderful friends and acquaintances during my time here. There truly is no server quite like this one, and all the memories I have and the progress I have made is what motivates me the most to make this appeal today. I just purchased two properties south of Kavala and I feel like I've finally gotten the hang of everything after playing over the holidays. I always do my best to roleplay my way out of ingame situations, even if it gets me imprisoned or killed. When I wasn't grinding for LSD in the small hours, I was roleplaying in Kavala as a security guard or as a journalist, and I have been known to help a few people out here and there. I have not taken for granted my time on this server and today I have learned that my stay is extremely fragile.
My ambitions for my time on the server are to earn enough money to support a major gang/project called "SkaiaNet Systems". Our deal is to be "shady secret agent" types, and we will almost exclusively use roleplaying to pull strings from behind the "crime scene". The recruit process will require good speaking skills, and it will include being kidnapped and interrogated ingame. Once we have enough members we wil start making moves, most notably a number of RP-bankheists I have been preparing. We will then use the money to fund upcoming gangs to do our bidding, and to increase our influence with the citizens and police force.
Why should we unban you ?
You should unban me because I made a very stupid mistake, and I was automatically issued a permanent ban by a bot. My statement was not aimed at any particular person, nor was it intended to insult any particular group of people. Racial terminology should NOT be handled frivolously. In the context of the conversation (which several people can testify to), I was simply trying to be funny, and I have been known for being funny in sidechat in the past. I was not aware that using such a word (nibba) would trigger and automatic ban, but in hindsight I should definitely have seen it coming.
I am sorry from the bottom of my heart if I offended anybody, as I am very familiar with the feeling of being the butt of a joke, and I will gladly apologize to them personally if possible. I only wish to continue playing as soon as I may, and to stay a part of your amazing community. I understand that language demands an exceptional level of care in a place like this, and I will gladly accept a 6 month timeout for my offense and reappeal afterwards. I simply wanted to show my initiative by appealing right away.
Again, I apologize for this lapse of judgement. I have been inexcusably thoughtless in my use of words, and if I am unbanned, this will never repeat itself.
