In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.

As far as I can remember, I was banned because when solving a situation with people who seemed to be established members of the community, I got the wrong idea of the mood in the channel as it seemed everyone was not taking it seriously so, as the more immature child I was almost 3 years ago, I said something like "cyka blayt" to a mentor who was friends with the people I was discussing with and also made references to how "people commit suicide due to online bullying" as I felt the people in the channel were targetting me due to references to my squeaky voice. Of course these statements I made must have been interpreted the wrong way to seem malicious which I'm sure was not the intention.

What have you been upto in the last 6 months+ ?

Well for the past 2 and a half years I've still been playing ArmA but just within different communities. ArmA has been my primary game and I do have quite the obsession with it but of course I have also been playing other things like PUBG and CSGO. In real life I have recently been focusing on my end of secondary education exams while looking forward to the long summer holiday.

Why do you want to return ?

I want to have the opportunity to play on this server once again because I want to have an optional community to play within as at the moment my options are restricted. Playing on the same community for nearly 3 years straight can become quite boring once you reach the end-game and I want to be able to play again on the server which I started my career in ArmA in order to establish myself once again. This is because playing with different people even in the same game mode will bring forward different situations because the attitude of these new people will be different. This server is how I first started playing Altis Life and I want to have the opportunity to continue what I started when I first started playing ArmA. Also, I want to add that I have been unable to play with friends who have started to play within RoleplayUK and would like to be able to follow them and play with these friends once more.

Why should we unban you ?

I should be unbanned because I am a changed person. Whatever I did to deserve a permanent ban over 2 years ago will definitely not happen again. I'm sure you have lots of people saying that when they don't mean it but if I am going to be honest I don't really think the reason for my ban was justified in the first place. From what I can remember I felt as if I was the person who was being targeted in the solving situation especially as the mentor who had been brought to help with the issue was familiar and joking around with the people I had the problem with and the whole reason I got banned seemed to be because my words had been twisted to seem malicious when that wasn't their intention. The fact that I didn't do anything which was extreme should reassure you that I mean I am not going to be a further nuisance to the server. I hope that you can see that I am genuine in saying that I will not be an inconvenience within the community and I should be allowed to come back to the server.

I tried commenting earlier but the website was down.

I never actually used a VPN to evade the ban on Teamspeak. I tried to connect through my laptop because I wanted to say goodbye to a few friends and when I was actually able to connect I assumed I had been unbanned. That was until the identity on my laptop got banned as well. (edit: I got banned on my computer first, and then connected successfully through my laptop - I assume I was able to because it wasn’t an IP ban but instead an identity ban and I had a different identity on my laptop to my computer).

Of course I wouldn’t intentionally evade a ban now, I wouldn’t have done back then. That is the reason I haven’t ban evaded since the original ban.

Yes I understand that comments regarding suicide are very serious but when I said them they had no malicious intent. It was a statement that I made because I felt as if I was being targeted for the way I sounded and the people who were making those comments didn’t seem to care how they would effect me. This made me say what i said to try and inform them about how severe small comments might be but the Mentor in the channel must have just used it as another reason to get me off the community because I was pestering his friends.

I will be more careful with what I say in the future if allowed back on the servers.

Thought it would make your life easier because you wouldn't have to scroll through every report and check to see if the person appealing the unban has replied yet or not. I waited for a while and just assumed you had missed it.

Geezz a helper on a non RP community full of toxic players, If your in that position you won't be returning here ... I am surprised you should be more geared up on following basic common sense rules/principles
