In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
I was banned for copying the rules from roleplay uk onto my own website.
What have you been upto in the last 6 months+ ?
Well the past year I've been really focusing on bettering myself. I know this will sound weird, but I'm actually glad that I received a ban, It let me drift away from gaming for a while and focus on bettering myself and my school work. For the past year I've been learning a lot of new things such as different programming languages, physics, different languages and I've been reading a lot. Since i've been banned, I've had a lot of time in my hands and because of that i've managed to improve my grades drastically. I have looked into some new hobbies and started learning to play the piano and have been a member of my local voluntary fire department for the past two months now. I worked really hard and got into the school I wanted to study in and I've currently become very interested in physics and have been thinking of studying astrophysics in the future. Slowly but surely, I've started playing games again and have been learning programming of robotics. With this time i've also become more athletic, started going to the gym and running regularly.
Why do you want to return ?
I believe I have learned from my mistakes and have learned to do things differently. I have learned to respect other peoples work and have stopped being so pety. The reason why I want to return is because I have been been reminiscing on some old memories of roleplaying on the server and have started to miss those times of playing my favourite gamemode and roleplaying with different and unique people. I want to come back to RPUK because there isn't any server like it, the roleplay is of the highest quality and the memories are great. Roleplay UK isn't like any other community, the people are welcoming and friendly and the staff are always there to help.
Why should we unban you ?
I believe I should be unbanned because I have learned to respect other peoples work and to work for myself. I took someone else's work and used it and it shows a lot about who i was back then, I didn't take a moment to think about what I was doing and what that person would feel like having their work stolen.And I haven't taken this ban as a punishment, but as an opportunity for me to reflect and better myself for my and everyones sake. I understand what I have done is wrong and I still feel bad about what I did. All I'm asking for is a second chance, I know I can do better. If I am to be unbanned, I will do everything in my power to abstain from breaking any rules, I will try my best to uphold the guidelines roleplay uk has and will respect other people and their work in the future. If I am to still stay banned, I respect the decision and know that you are only thinking about what's best for the community. Thank you for the amazing year and for all the great memories. you have given me. I also want to touch on something. In the last unban appeal I was told I still had my website up which I promptly have removed since. I had simply forgotten to remove it. I was also informed that some of the people I had been playing with we're racist. I Wouldn't know who you would be talking about since I haven't personally experienced racism from them before or after I became friends with them nor have I ever seen or heard them be racist. I was also told I could re-appeal after straightening these two things out.
