In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.

the 1.6 was issued because i was in a Teamspeak called clitmob where someone who was mass RDMing was also located. at the current time where i was banned i was playing rust and was just AFK lurking in the Teamspeak not even in the same channel as the two who RDMed. i only got informed of the RDM after they did it. I got dragged/poked my the people in question so they could brag i guess. Once i knew this took place, people started to get banned for 1.6, i then was either ingame or logging on at the time the 1.6 was happening, to see if i was banned aswell. after i have flown my chopper for a couple of minutes the ban came.
Even though when i made a Kayn_unban user and it got banned with, "no unbans for this one" is it possible for me to make an appeal to get my story to the light. I feel like the ban on me was unjust and i know it isnt easy for you guys to know whats going on when something like this happens, whos involved and whos not. i just want to make my appeal and see the verdict if im to be remained banned or join back. i really love this server and i respect the rules. i am really active and i wouldnt do anything to try and hurt the server. I do not know if you want me to take a little break to think about the situation or if im eligible to make my appeal and join back in.

What have you been upto in the last 6 months+ ?

Havent been 6 months. Been working, playing overwatch and watch tv series.

Why do you want to return ?

i have been an active member of this community for nearly 3 years with little to no rulebreaks. i have spent a great deal of my time and invested alot of hours on this server. this is the only server i play on and only game i usually play. in my 2k+ hours on arma almost every single on of them has been on this server. i love this server and community. i cant find anything else that feels like "home" when i play. this server is where my friends are and where i can sit down, play and laugh with them. being in poseidon i have gotten alot more firends and i hope that i can see them again.

Why should we unban you ?

My ban was understandable because of the information that the staff team had to work with, its not an easy thing. i just feel like my ban and some others who was also AFK/playing another game in another channel in that teamspeak got the short end of the straw. I never intended to cause any trouble and i hope that i havent. i feel like i was just swept under the rug with the rest of the people involved even though i had no part or say in the RDM. i understand from wilcos perspective how things may look when troublemakers are in the same teamspeak and then suddenly the same teamspeak begins to mass rdm. Wilco did what was right to stop the threat to spread. all of these hours i have been here i have only broken 1 rule and that was me having a bad initiation 1 year ago +-, i dont see myself as a rulebreaker/troublemaker, and i hope you dont either. it was kinda hard news for me being banned seeing how big of an impact rpuk has on my daily life. the ban was a enlightening process, i will no longer associate myself with such toxicity. i hope you can see this from my point of view and give me another chance to prove myself worthy. i am truely sorry for being in this position. and i hope that these wrongs dosent outweigh my commitment to the server.

Edit: the teamspeak was mainly used for talking with friends and playing other games, it is a shame that it was used for this purpose aswell.

The last few weeks leading upto your ban you was on our radar for hanging around with people considered disruptive, the fact that when cornered these people started being racist and RDMing was not surprising.

Nor was the tip off and screenshots of the team speak server which was described as a very toxic and racist group of people, it just connected the dots

The fact that you hang out there and was with them when they was doing there little act of throwing toys out the pram says to me this was not unjust, we have removed a questionable group of people from the community.

i understand what you are saying, and i knew that the people involved were toxic, but i didnt know they were that toxic. i met most of these guys recently and a handful of them were in the same gang as me way back, Bikini bottom and Last division. i was just comming back to the server after a big break when i joined bikni bottom (half a year+ ago ish) and then we disbandoned and created last division. after we started to go our seperate ways and last division started to crumble i took another break. i just recently came back and joined poseidon days after i joined back in. i was then blacklisted for playing as rebel while being poseidon (spotting people in a helicopter)(same day as everyone got banned). I didnt know alot of the guys/gang playing rebel at the time but i saw some familiar faces when i saw that my old gangmates where still kicking about, and jordan naylor who i was in poseidon with, and also the one to invite me in. i then joined them. i got to play with them for 40 minutes before everyone got 1.2 or failure to report disgusting behaviour. then later on the RDM happend. when they all got banned, we then went in the ts to talk to eachother to discuss/talk about what happend. 

i understand that toxic people tend to have toxic friends but i dont see myself as a toxic induvidual and i dont think anyone on the server does. i just joined back in after half a year, not talking much with them as i was in poseidon, i was jumping in their channels from time to time saying hello or playing squad. 

i am not here to cause any uncomfort or toxicity, i had a great time with everyone in poseidon and i dont think anyone was "angry" at me for anything. i dont want to be labeled as a toxic person because of the group im in, but this was understandable seeing how toxic it was, even though i wasnt present when all of this happend since i was either not on the server, playing as poseidon or had not joined back yet from my break. i only heard of what happend after the ban of the first people because a video appeared with all of what what said. the only thing i heard of bad behaviour was the gunfight which took place when i started playing with them (same day as the ban) and that was them calling people they killed bots. 

im not denying that i was in a toxic group, i was fully aware but alot of what was said was out of line. i have been in that TS for along time but i havent been active on it, only when after the bans of my gangmambers where happening, since they were banned of rpuk TS. 

i apologize again and i wont be in the same situation again if i were to be unbanned, i hope that i can right my wrongs and demonstarte to you that im not a toxic person.

All of the rooms in the teamspeak is hidden and you have to be server admin to see whos in what channel, i didnt know that this even happend when it did, i didnt know who was involved or not. i didnt even know they were in the channel, only after it happend. i didnt even use that TS to communicate with anyone as i was muted up playing rust and Black ops 4, with an IRL friend of mine. Dunno which game i played during the rdm but those games were the one i was playing before i got banned.

So where is your player reports about these people? Or do you not care about keeping this community the nice and friendly place we built it to be ?

Like said, i came back from a 6months+- break, i havent talked to them for that period of time. I came back for a month now and stayed in poseidon for that long. I got blacklisted from poseidon the same day i got banned. That was the only time i talked with them for more than a couple of minutes. The guys i knew from way back wasnt so toxic like shown now but we were just saying toxic things to eachother, (in a friendly, jokeing matter) nothing over the line and nothing brought into the community. I was never present when all of this toxicity happend, so i could not report this to staff. The only thing «toxic» i heard them say was that some of the guys they killed was called bots. I was only with them for a very short time before everyone got banned. The most toxic people that were in the group was introduced to me the same day i got banned/ didnt know that much just kinda knew their name.

I was yes, when i was there it was to talk about what happend and why they got banned. The only racist thing that i heard from there was the video that was shown of why they got banned. I havent used that teamspeak much, almost not at all. I have also not rejoined that ts after what happend. The ts originated from a gang that was called clit mob and they used that since they didnt have a gang channel on rpuk.
