In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.

I was banned for the Ket blanket ban that happened a few weeks ago. Ket disrupted a passive roleplay event that had taken place on the server. (I do not know the full story as I was already banned at the time which my dispute was going well)

What have you been upto in the last 6 months+ ?

Playing a lot of CSGO and I work full time 47 hours a week so I dont have a lot of time on my PC anyway. I know the 6 months has not passed however I was not involved in the situation that got KET blanket banned.

Why do you want to return ?

I feel I should have the chance to return as I always try my best to be immersive when roleplaying on the server and it is the server I have put a lot of dedication into. As I work full time I do not have a lot of time on my hands but when I do my main thing I would do would log onto here and interact with the other players and always try to roleplay to my best standard. I would love for a chance to come back here as in my eyes its the best rp server on arma as the rest are not serious like this one.

Why should we unban you ?

KET got blanket banned for something that was totally and utterly a horrible thing to do to people who put a lot of effort into a roleplay event they were hosting and If wasn't banned at the time they would be told not to do what they did or they would be booted from the gang. In my eyes I believe passive roleplay comes first before any sort of action as at the end of the day this is a roleplay server and if you want to go frag then this isn't the server for you.

Moving on:
As I mentioned earlier in this dispute I was not involved with the sitaution that caused the blanket and believe I should have my second chance to play on here again. Unfortunately my dispute was going really well until I was 1.6d from the forums which caused it to timeout. If I had the chance to come back to the server I would most likely apply for the NHS and try to get into Police or if not join a gang with a high reputation for decent roleplay. I send my sincere apologies to Wilco and the rest of the staff time for the inconveniences caused and I make a promise for this not to happen again.

You were banned twice over, once for fail RP and once for the blanket ban. The Fail RP ban was mostly caused from what I understand by the influence of your gang.

What shall you do to make sure you are no longer so easily influenced by kids who only desire to 'frag'?

Firstly starting with the steam comments I do not normally read through them or monitor them which I should do like you said. The comments with nazi signs and racial slurs were not influenced by me and to be fair they should be removed which I will do after I reply to your comment.

Secondly I was indeed banned for PoorRP/FailRP which I posted a unban appeal for which was going pretty well. I spoke to Drew about it and he said he would post a hidden comment to staff about the situation. The one for the blanket ban I believe I should not have as I was not involved in what got the whole gang banned. When I was on the server I tried to get everyone do some passive roleplay instead of running around gunning everyone. I would not call KET my gang tbh I basically just had the rank title of Co-Leader. Everyone that came in and out the gang went through KEVIN before I replied either accepted or denied.

I will admit KET did allow poor quality players in who only wanted the frags but me being me wanted to give them a chance to prove they can actually roleplay well. Finally replying to "What shall you do to make sure you are no longer so easily influenced by kids who only desire to 'frag'?" If I was give the chance to return to the server I would not join a gang full of edgy kids with a bad reputation I would enhance my roleplay opportunities and apply for NHS or join a gang with a very good reputation.

Ah the apply for the NHS meme again, you'd be surprise how many people say that and how few actually do it when they are unbanned. Despite it being a good way to improve their roleplay.
As for the joining the gang with a good reputation, how will you judge that? I am sure you at first thought KET had a good reputation as well.

It may seem as if I’m joining the bandwagon with the NHS meme however whether you believe me or not I am being serious about applying and trying to work my way up in the faction. I try to always give my best when role playing. I’ve racked up 2500 hours on a Garry’s mod roleplay community years before arma and had racked up passive roleplay points which shows I can actually do it.

moving on from that when I say joining a gang with good reputation I judge it by the players inside with reputation for example the Lost Cause which is full of great role players or OG for example.

At first KET looked to be a good gang in the making however recruiting a fair amount of people without realising there reputation on the sever that’s when it went downhill. If I had the chance to come back I would love to be apart of the new re-habilitation program.

You was one of the leaders of the gang correct?

Talk me through the process of getting people in your gang, from the moment the gang started to the moment it went to shit?

I'd like to give me names of people you think to be the one's who caused the most problems in the gang?

Indeed I was one of the leaders of the gang. The process was I would review all apps with KEVIN before making a final decision. We would also get an opinion on the applicant from others in the gang if we were unsure who they were and what their reputation was like. I think this is where it went wrong. We listened to much to the members instead of being professional about it. I ended up in just "hes my friend hes good let him" sort of thing. If I had a second chance to run a gang again I would make sure not to do that again.

This is not an insult to these members however the people who made the gang go down hill were: Malfang & James Blezard, no offensive to these people on my behalf but toxic behaviour as stated by Wilco and just wanting to join a gang for frags comes into play here. This is a roleplay community and these people made our reputation for being a PoorRP gang came from what was said above.
