In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
The reason I was banned is because I used a very appalling word as a teamspeak client custom name. That is very disrespectful hence I was permanently banned for it. This was a permaban because I broke rule 1.2.
What have you been upto in the last 6 months+ ?
6 Months have not passed yet, and I fully understand you are meant to appeal after 6 months have passed, however if you continue reading into my appeal you might see my point of view in all of this.
Why do you want to return ?
I want to return as I really love this community. It is my go to place when I want to enjoy myself, especially now that the Summer Break has just started for me and that I recently re-joined the Police. RPUK has been my home for games for a very long time now and I really enjoy playing here. During my punishment as PCSO for 2 weeks I did try out other servers to kill some free time but none come close the the experience you get here on RPUK. I feel like this is my home, I have spent over a year of my life on it and I still enjoy to its fullest, this has been the best experience so far for my gaming life and I really want to have the possibility to come back. The roleplay here comes second to none and that is why I really wish to be let back in.
Why should we unban you ?
School for me has just ended that is because I have completed all my IGCSE Exams. On Saturday Night (the 16th) there was a party hosted by my mate at his house to celebrate the end of these exams as it was a very hard period of intense work and revision.
That night I have done things that I have never done before or would have never done if I was sober. That night I was extremely drunk, having drunk the most beer at a party in my entire lifetime and I made quite a few massively idiotic decisions.
One of them being, that after the party was over and the after-party had started (where some people stay at the house to sleep and have fun together) I logged into teamspeak on my phone to check if there was anything interesting going on. Now I do not exactly remember why I actually did that to Benjamin as overall I consider him a friend, he came to Original Gangstas during his police holiday to play a bit with a few other people from NCA and we had some fun, so I really do not know why if there is any reason at all Benjamin was involved with this to start off with.
Now onto the the very inappropriate word I used, I have never used that as an insult nor I ever meant to use it as an insult, I genuinely do not know why I used such a word and again, especially on Benjamin. I fully admit that it was extremely idiotic and silly of me to do that.
I did not even remember that this had happened, hence when I went to take a screenshot of the teamspeak channel I was not double checking anything as I truly did not expect such a thing to be there in first place. The reason why I took the screenshot is MI5 related as we had gained intel on every person in that room.
After I realised what had happened I immediately asked Benjamin for a quick chat with him and I explained him my perspective and also apologizing to him. He told me that personally he did not take any offense, but instead asked me why him as he considered me a friend and I do too which is when I explained to him that I genuinely do not know why this had anything to do with him to begin with and I also proceeded to explain how I do not use those kind of words as insults.
I cannot emphasize how foolish, silly and stupid of me it was to do this, and I seriously do not even remember what caused me to this and until I sent the screenshot I did not even notice that custom nickname.
I have learnt from my mistake. Either way, drunk or not, I understand that I made a terrible decision and a grave mistake. After performing some research and reflecting on my actions I now feel even more awful. Autism is atrocious condition that affects over tens of millions worldwide and is a serious issue that should not be joked about. I have now learnt from my mistake and will never speak in such a manner again, sober or not. I am deeply sorry to Benjamin, Reminissions, those who saw the screenshot and everyone else in this community for my actions. They were disgusting and heartless. I really hope that everyone understands that what I did is no joke, as I do now and that in the future we can all live in an accepting and unified world where we all care for each other.
Furthermore, out of my own free will I have decided to donate to the National Autistic Society in regret for my behavior and for those who have made fun intentionally or unintentionally of autism I strongly recommend that you re-think your actions and understand that it is a serious matter. I would like to reiterate that I am sorry to all those affected by autism, those who I offended, Benjamin, Reminissions and those involved. I am very sorry.

It has been a bumpy ride for me, I admit I had my ups and downs, but I always come on top overcoming my mistakes and learning from them. After all we are only human and we cannot be perfect, but if I do get the chance to come back I will ensure that the staff team will never hear about me in a negative way ever again. I unfortunately did not have the chance to speak to Gordon explaining myself, but I understand I broke a rule and it deserves punishment. I have already deeply apologized to everyone who was involved (Benjamin and Remi). No matter the outcome of this appeal I consider this as a life lesson which I will conserve for my foreseeable future.

Answer: No I do not often go on teamspeak drunk, as a matter of fact I am not often drunk as this was a special occasion, from what I can recall excluding this situation I have previously been on teamspeak drunk twice, however I was not as drunk as this time and therefore nothing happened. I have never been drunk when in-game. You can be sure that I will not jump on drunk again as from now on if I do happen to be drunk I will ensure to stay away from teamspeak, forums and in-game.
Question: What Roleplay value can you bring to the community if we unban you?
Answer:
I believe myself to be a very high quality roleplayer, always striving for the best roleplay scenario possible. I am currently in a heavily roleplay-focused unit in Police which allows me to roleplay under different circumstances than the standard police life and as well as that gives me the opportunity to create a new character on a regular basis and I get to have a different roleplay experience.
I have put a lot of time and effort in my police career since day one. I have always strived for the highest count of feedbacks as a Police Officer while keeping both quantity and quality extremely high in the process. My loyalty towards the Kavala Constabulary is evident as I never missed a single meeting, even when I was on an airplane or when I could not speak so I pre-recorded all my points and promotions for that specific meeting and got them to be played by another member of the constabulary. I was also elected as the Kavala Representative and during that period of time I did my best to represent the Kavala Constabulary in many ways. Such as how I always pushed the opinions of the members of the Kavala Constabulary, how I made it my person goal to get every single Kavala Constabulary member on the Kavala Discord and how I projected the voice of the people through their suggestions, ideas and feedback. Overall I always pushed myself to make Kavala the best constabulary to be in so that one could have a very friendly and supportive environment to have the best police experience they could possibly have.
This was just my standard police life, as you may you know I am also part of a very important unit. In that unit I have also endeavoured to constantly push my barriers. Always being the one that has something to contribute and being recognized for my work quite a few times. However I cannot go in detail for obvious reasons.
As well as my police career I have made some great achievements and advancements in the NHS. I have worked my way up to the rank of Surgeon in the Sierra Department and I also for a brief period I joined the Air Rescue Branch, but I had to leave it due to my police career taking the priority. My roleplay was deemed exceptional and that was shown as I got promoted faster than others.
Before my police career started I was one of the two leaders of the Altis Mafa Association, a gang which was heavily roleplay orientated. We had a storyline going which led up to a roleplay RBA Treasury. This time period is what I refer to when I use the expression “the good old days” as it was a period of my RPUK experience which I will never forget as I enjoyed every day of it. The concept of being a mafia leader always intrigued me and when I finally found a platform where I can actually express this concept I was thrilled. From kidnap interviews to roleplay assassinations the fun activities were endless. We had a proper mafia ranking system and overall it was plain up great. Here is a link to our gang post:

Question: Being drunk just makes you behave how you truly want to be by preventing you from restraining yourself. If this is the type of person you really are why should we even consider unbanning you?
Answer: Well I completely understand this, and as Wilco said himself “They say the truth and the real person comes out when drunk... Is this something you say regularly offline ?” I never use words such as autistic or spastic or retarded as ways of trying to insult someone in any way shape or form in real life. I do however disagree that what one does when drunk portrays what that person truly believes in as it heavily depends on the environment and any possible feelings that person was feeling.

Fast forward a month and I have remained on the roleplay side of things. I got back in to Garry’s Mod as it has hundreds of different roleplay game modes to play. After a week of testing out different game modes I settled on a Star Wars Roleplay Server as I am a big fan of Star Wars, especially now that a trailer on the ending of the Clone Wars has been announced and also a bit of Dark RP. Of course, neither of the roleplay experiences could be remotely compared to RPUK.
Additionally, I have been on holiday recently as I invited 6 of my mates, including Ace, to Italy for a week. This has led to me not being active on my computer as I was having fun with my mates. I will say however, that this past month, excluding the week I had my mates around, was very boring as even though I was having some fun on Garry's Mod it does not come anywhere close to the fun I have on RPUK. Quite frankly, there are no other games I enjoy playing more than Arma 3, I occasional play games such as Rainbow 6 Siege, Counter Strike Global Offensive and Civilization V, but they are not games which I enjoy as much as Arma. I have found myself watching many more movies and series on Netflix this month out of boredom as I felt there was not much to do.
Also thinking about reducing the amount of time you would have to spend reviewing this appeal I thought it would be a good idea to clear up a few details of my other ban almost two years ago. I was banned for using the word "cancer" in roleplay. I never used that word as an insult as that would be wrong, I was using it in a roleplay scenario saying that it was the reason I could not hear the sirens of the Police Officer who was attempting to pull me over. The reason I used that word was because at the time I did not see using that word within context as an unacceptable thing to do. In fact, I acknowledged that in my unban appeal. Linking that to what I now know, of course I have progressed and I have learnt from my mistakes and I understand it is wrong. Additionally, I understand this is kind of coincidental for being banned for a similar subject matter, however in that situation almost two years I did not use that word in a derogatory form and in this current situation it was fully unintentional as I would not conduct myself in such a disgusting way.
Continuing forward, I will also address the time where I was given a warning for playing a very immature soundboard. That was a low point for me and I honestly cannot excuse my actions, in fact I received a warning for it and since then I have been very careful of the type of humor I display.
I understand that these two occasions are both negative points on my record, and I am not here to run away from them, but instead I will be fully honest about them.
Also I wish to add I was banned from both in-game and on teamspeak.

Discrimination is the unjust or prejudicial treatment of different categories of people, especially on the grounds of race, age, or sex, but in this case it was on the ground of mental state.

This rule is in place because discrimination affects everyone in a different way and different people consider different things as something that discriminates them. This rule is crucial for this community as it creates more of a safe space for people who might be different from what someone might consider the norm.
