In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
I Shot a cop at the RBA Reserve without speaking to him, thought it was acceptable at the time because he threatened my life. (Which I heard was fine from a low level admin, and a load of players - was dumb of me to take their word for it rather than whats set in stone on the forums)
What have you been upto in the last 6 months+ ?
I've been finishing my A Levels and preparing for university.
Why do you want to return ?
I've missed the community a lot, not being able to play with certain people basically mean't that I haven't played ArmA at all for the past 2 months, along with exam season at school which has just come to an end. I find myself bored on other games and can't have the fun I once had playing ArmA without playing on this server with this community.
Why should we unban you ?
I've put my appeal in early because I don't know if I am going to have time to play at all after I start university in just over 2 months time.
I've had time out to relax and stop taking the game seriously, and I've realised the purpose of this community isn't mainly just to "frag" everyone, but to have fun and roleplay interesting situations where everyone can benefit. I was going off a guideline that wasn't approved by the majority of the staff (ie, the Rules section, the post on when you're able to shoot, etc) - and I was doing this just for my benefit at the time, wanting to provide the bare minimum in terms of roleplay before a gunfight kicked off. Being on the receiving end of this kind of behaviour is what made me act like that, and to be on the receiving end of it isn't fun and isn't the quality gameplay an average player would come to expect on RPUK. My time out of the server has deprived me of any ArmA related RP which I have missed dearly, and although I have been very busy up until recently I have still missed my friends and the community as a whole.
If I was to be unbanned I'd be a higher quality player than I once was, I've quit the whole "tryhard" BS I was on before, its not fun or healthy for the community and my time out of RPUK has removed the whole idea from my head. The only thing I want to do is roleplay to a really high standard, and have fun with the community whilst doing so.
