In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
I was banned November second, 2016 by khandimir for duplicating on the account named Mon (I was found duplicating skeleton suits). At that time I was not very aware of the rules as I had just been bantering with my friends
and was new to the world of role play. I did not fully realize what the risks of duplicating were and I had acted out of greed. I was then banned on my secondary account named Bruce on October 21st 2018 by Stavik for the reason of ban evading.
I bought a new copy of Arma 3 because I had seen how much fun my friends were having on roleplay.co.uk and I missed being a part of that. By the time, I have to admit I was somewhat more informed about the rules that apply to the server but not as
far as to the rules on having a second account. Reconsidering, this was also foolish to do.
What have you been upto in the last 6 months+ ?
The past year and years (since 2016) I have been playing Arma 3 with friends on custom-made missions. I have been playing some other games like Rainbow Six Siege and Assassin's creed.
From time to time when my friends got the hang of role play back, I tried to fill in an appeal but I do now realize I never really had put in the effort. And I do understand that they were seen as
low effort appeals.
Why do you want to return ?
With the massive unban event that happened, I hoped I would have been unbanned. I logged in and played for a bit. Later that day I came back and found out that I was still banned. (I asked about this and was told it was an error in the system and
I did not belong to the categories that were unbanned). But this motivated me to start over again and show how much I missed the community and the fun we had with our friends. Due to this unban event my friends started playing again.
This was the final drip of motivation I needed to write a new appeal. All in all I just really miss the amount of fun that the server has to offer. The people on it and the community around it and I would really enjoy being a part of
that experience again.
Why should we unban you ?
It has been almost 3 years since my first ban on Mon. The duplicating was a childish act of greed and I now feel as if I should have just reported it as a bug instead of using it to my own advantage. In these three years I can assure you I have
become much more mature. With my current mindset I even feel dumb using glitches as it is unfair to the rest of the players and it even spoils my own time in the game. The game is designed to grind for what you desire and I now understand that the grind
is the most rewarding point of the game. It gives you the best memories and the new friends. In short, I now see that glitching and duplicating is utterly useless and I don't even want to waste my time doing it anymore. From now on I can only
promise that I will play fair and I will follow the rules. The rules which I now fully understand and will follow (I can assure you I have read them and understand them and will follow them to the best of my abilities). As far as the account
Bruce goes, I understand I should have just accepted my punishment and I should not have made a second account to try to keep playing. I did it because I really missed the server, I missed the fun and wanted to keep playing. I know I should not have
done it and I can't say sorry enough for doing it. All I want to ask from the staff team and server management is to give me one more chance to live up to the expectations of what a member of this great community is expected to be.
I can only ask you to believe me when I say I grew older and wiser. And most importantly more mature. From now on I will act as I am supposed to and follow the rules as they are stated and do my best to stay out of trouble.
