In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.

I was banned for abuse of the side chat, including a crude insensitive joke, and insulting another player.

What have you been upto in the last 6 months+ ?

I've since been playing lots of Counter Strike and doing a lot of studying.

Why do you want to return ?

I really enjoyed every second of my time I spent on the server I made some new friends and most importantly I want to share it with my old friends I have been unable to play with. There isn't any comparable game or server.

Why should we unban you ?

It was a long time ago now but I still remember how utterly frustrating the incident in which a hacker killed dozens of people in Kavala by destroying cars was. It is difficult to convey how annoyed I was, but I was very embarrassed looking back on what I said. My comments were completely inappropriate and I still take full responsibility for the ban, but I believe I have a vastly greater appreciation for the server and the community behind it after my 6+ months. I have full respect for the rules and have never intentionally broken them, and I always RP where appropriate. I know I wouldn't let myself blow this final opportunity.

I can see why you would be embarrassed... You appear to be someone who definitely wouldn't fit in here, but it has been a while...

If you were ever in a frustrating situation again, explain to me how you would handle it and stop yourself from causing issues. 6 months may be a while, but it's a short time for a whole way of acting to completely change and given what you said, I find myself lacking confidence that you wouldn't fly off the handle like this again. What will you do in this community if you are allowed to return? What is it about this community that makes you want to be here and how will you act in order to make amends?

I want to be part of the community again, and enjoy the good RP like i used to while meeting new people. This community is like no other in the fact that people care about it so much, and I did too; if I become part of it again I would be able to see the bigger picture: There are ~100 other individuals trying to enjoy the server and that I need to respect that. If the situation were to repeat itself I would probably just disconnect and let it all blow over, getting angry at people for 'stirring' only gets myself and others angrier and stirs more.

I am really willing to put full effort in, since my ban I have lurked the forums for a few weeks, mainly looking at player reports and other ban appeals because it makes it easier to apply the rules when I can read about them in context.
