In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.

Well I clearly started a firefight in the safe zone which is against the rules and was banned for it.

What have you been upto in the last 6 months+ ?

Well it's been almost 3years since i've been banned from the server and in that time i've done my A-levels and now i am going into my second year of uni.

Why do you want to return ?

the server is one of the most active and highest quality altis life servers and i feel as though i am missing out on it due to a mistake that i made 3 years ago. It was also the first arma server that i ever played on so it would be nice to return and try to make a positive impact.

Why should we unban you ?

Its been quite a while since i was banned and i have matured since then and i will do my best to follow the rules if i am unbanned. i have played on other communities and have gotten a pretty high rank in their police force which shows that i can be mature and follow rules well.

Good god it's been a while. There wasn't even a proper structure to appeals back then!

You haven't put as much effort in as I'd like to see in this type of appeal and sheer time isn't enough to earn you a pass. Therefore I'd ask you, why now? I can appreciate that the amount of time that has passed is plenty enough time for someone to mature and on that ground alone I'm inclined to trust you to an extent, but with the amount of effort you've put in, why should I?

Give me something to work with here. What makes you worth our time more than someone else? What direction will you be taking with your roleplay in the future if you are able to return? Convince me.

Yes it has been quite a while . And I do realise that I did not put enough effort in to the appeal and i'll try to make up for it now.

Why now, well when I started uni back in sept i quit arma and left the community that I had been apart of since i got banned on here, mostly due to being burnt out and just generally doing everything that the server had to offer, now i'm back for the summer i want to start playing arma again but on a different server,  I have good memories from my time on this one and can see that it has changed a lot. As for why you should trust me, when I first joined the server I had maybe 50hours playtime now i'm up to 1900 and if i'm brutally honest i didn't really care for rp much back then, but since then i have come to appreciate it and enjoy it, it is also the first way i try and solve any situation i am in before resorting to anything else.

What makes me worth your time? I feel as though i can have a positive impact on the community as I didn't before, I don't act toxic to anyone in any situation and as i said before I try to use Rp to get out of a situation before trying anything else. As for my roleplay itself, I don't power-game and try to create an original and interesting backstory that would explain the situation that i'm in.

Those 2 quotes don't add up for me. You'd done everything there is to do but you didn't care about RP and your idea of closure was breaking something you clearly knew was a rule. Why do that? You haven't really done "everything" if you've barely tapped into the RP side at all? Is it going to be different this time?

I don't think i was clear enough, sorry, when talking about doing everything the server had to offer I was talking about another server and why I was leaving that one to hopefully join this one. when talking about not caring about RP I was talking about back when i was banned and It will be different this time since i have experience and I enjoy it.
