In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.

I was banned about 2 years ago on this server due to 'ban evasion'. I had been using my laptop at a friends house, who had been banned that night for breaking NLR I believe. The fact that he was banned and I had logged on at his house that night may have been the reason why I had been banned. My account was mentioned in Nealons ban appeal which I would highly recomend you read https://www.roleplay.co.uk/topic/93385-un-ban-appeal-nealon-08102017-unbanned/?tab=comments#comment-530285 In the first comment of the ban appeal my steam account (The third link provided in the comment) is mentioned as a potential account for ban evasion, along two accounts belonging to a lee clifford. My name declan which was included in the account name at the time 'declander' had nothing to do with a potential second account.

What have you been upto in the last 6 months+ ?

I have not played much arma at all since then, only for the occasional wasteland server with my friends.

Why do you want to return ?

I would like to return as I had always wanted to play on this server. I was talking to some of my friends who were interested in playing on an altis life roleplay server when I spent a while mentioning my great times on this server. The only problem was that I am still permabanned here.

Why should we unban you ?

Its been two years since I have been banned from this server. I did not ban evade at all as this is my only steam account. I tried to convey my point clearly in my last ban appeal to no avail. Honestly I seriously did nothing wrong but got banned in the process for it. Even so I have not played on this server for two years and served an adequate amount of time being banned on the server. This is my genuine account as if otherwise i would not have made two previous ban appeals on this profile. if you evan look at my steam account you can tell it is a genuine account and not a ban evasion account. Its been a very long time and all I want is to be able to play arma 3 roleplay back on this server with my friends. I would appreciate if you would unban me from this server, with regards Declan.

@Declander Well there is 4 accounts connected, So what do you know about your friend? or a better question is what are you going to come clean about so we can progress with this.

My friend Joe (Nealon) initially invited me to play on this server with his friend Lee (Cliffy) I had played with them briefly beforehand before I brought my laptop over to his house to play on the server with him. I had brought my laptop to his house while he used his. This was before Joe got banned (which was later that night) for breaking NLR and scrapping somebody’s helicopter. Joe has been banned on the server not me, I had only signed on with my account at his house. Because my account was listed as a ‘ban evasion’ account it must have been the fact that we were both simultaneously using the same ip. We didn’t use each other’s accounts to ban evade at any point it just happened to be coincidence that my account had been tagged for ban evasion for Joes (Nealon’s) ban (Linked in the why do you think you were banned section). Joe since then has been unbanned from the server (as stated on his ban appeal). Honestly if I had anything to come clean about or confess for doing I would, but this is exactly what had happened as it had happened. If there is any more information you need, or questions you have. I am more than willing to answer them truthfully. I appreciate you taking the time to respond.

I will accept your story but please understand we can never be sure, Ban evasion happens... some people just do not think the rules apply to them.

In future, i would recommend only using your own connection and not be in a position where others are playing on the same IP as you to avoid this.
