In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.

I was banned due to the Ket blanket ban on the 25/03/18. We was banned because a few members ruined a wedding RP event by RDMing and VDMing

What have you been upto in the last 6 months+ ?

It hasn't been six months since I was banned however in the last six months I have been playing arma and other games such as PUBG. I have also been revising a lot for my GCSE exams that's are coming up very soon.

Why do you want to return ?

Firstly I would like to return as this is by far the best community I have ever played on whilst playing arma 3. The quality of RP from all people and the amount of fun that goes on, on the server is really rare and I won’t find this anywhere else. I have around 2000 hours on arma 3 and around 1400 of them are been on RPUK. In the time that I have been banned from the server I have honestly missed playing on it. Since my ban got issued I tried to play arma on different servers (Not just RP ones) and after about a week of trying about 6 different servers I just got really bored. The RP servers are just so badly run and so many rule breakers with very poor RP. I really miss playing RPUK and would love just one more chance to come back and show that I am not a bad person and that I am a good asset to the community and just made one mistake by joining a gang with poor RP. Finally another reason why I would like to come back to the server is because whilst I am loaded with lots of revision at the moment I would just love to give it a slight rest and play arma 3 once again.

Before I move onto the next section of the unban I would just like to make you aware that I have lost all communication with James Blezard and have removed him off my friends list on steam and completely removed the toxic ket TeamSpeak from my bookmarks. I know this may sound like I am lying and I can see where you are coming from if you think that however I just hope that you can believe me that I no longer associate with toxic members of ket. I don't really know how teamspeak works with tags and other stuff like that my tag description I believe it was got changed to something along the lines of "I am a Ni**er" I can assure you that, it wasn't me who changed that and it was james as of my knowledge and for some reason when I was trying to remove it I couldn't as it would not let me do so. As I believe I said in my previous unban I didn't really speak to the select toxic members in ket unless I was in game with them. The reason my last unban got denied is because me and Aaron were sat in that ket TeamSpeak which was a very bad mistake from me. As soon as my appeal got denied for being in there was when I fully realised that it was not a good place to be and would not help me in any shape or form.
 

Why should we unban you ?

Firstly I would like to start by apologising for all the time I have wasted being in ket and also for my previous unban that you had put effort into to reply to it when I clearly had not learnt my lesson and was still hanging round with the toxic individuals from ket. Also that during the event I was not one of the individual's that RDMed or VDMed however I know I am just as bad as the people who did as I was there at the situation.

To start off, I would like to address one of the main reasons why I think that you should give me one more chance and unban me, this is because after I have been playing the server for a long time now (Around 1400 hours) I have never ever caused any issues in the past from my knowledge and ever be banned or warned for something. This is apart from one time where I commented on a unban that I wasn't involved in, I know this was wrong even though I thought I was ok at the time to comment on it, even though I wasn't, so I apologised to the staff member that gave me the warning and will make sure it will not to happen again.

I don't know how to make this part sound much different from my other unban however I will comment on it again as I believe this is one of, if not the main thing why people carry on playing the server. This is the amount of work the staff team and the development team put into the server. Firstly the most beneficial thing about the staff team is that there are so many staff members that are all great and know what to do and always there to help when needed, no matter the situation. Secondly the development team on the server are great and I have never seen a better development team on any game let alone another server. Every week there is a update that you can tell has had a lot of effort put into it and I always loved waiting for those updates and was always appreciative of all the and effort put into this and would love to have this to look forward to again.

I know a lot of people use this to make the staff team think they are good at RP, however I am in the medics and honestly love going on patrols, in my opinion this is where all the best RP happens. Even though for around the last month before my ban was issued my activity was dropping I was still thinking of the medics. This is because I applied for both the MTO team and the Application team. I am not using this as a get out of jail free card as such as I know it isn't, I just thought I would add it in to show that my RP is not just solely based on rebel RP and gunfights.

Finally I would like to close my appeal by saying that I know that I was in the wrong in ket and that ruining the wedding was a bad idea and I cannot apologise enough for the issues I have caused and all I want is just one more chance to prove that I am not all bad and just made one stupid mistake by joining ket and being involved in some toxic thing to do with them. As I said at the start of my appeal all the toxicity has now been left behind and I no longer speak or have any contact with the ket TeamSpeak nor the toxic individuals.

Okay, reading through this I've noticed something that i'd like you to address,

You notice, all i see if you saying "toxic people" "toxic individuals"  ? 

I want you to give me names of who these people are, and who you think was the one's ruining the roleplay. Because it seems you're just referring to "toxic people" who you've yet to inform me who they are

Right, as you correctly identified, I did use rather vague language while describing toxic people as I hoped not to cause them zero chance in an unban even if they improved their attitude and RP, although since you have asked directly, these are the main people that I feel cause the low quality RP and problems in KET. Well to be honest as shown by actions towards members off the community on the forums, James Blezard as Wilco has addressed in other unbans was probably the main toxic individual in the gang. This toxic behaviour shown by him reflects in a bad way on me as on the Ket TeamSpeak him changing the description of my TeamSpeak to "I am a Ni**er", ever since this it shown me the disrespect he shown as a person. I also believe that the low RP shown by him influenced the whole gang and gave us all a bad reputation of poor RP. In a way most of the people in the gang just dropped RP standards, this is including me as well. There was also a few other people who stood out to me. These people where as followed: Malfang and Blu. I say Malfang as he was one of the people who stood out to me as one of the people who was always giving poor RP and wanting gunfights. Also Blu on the other hand was just not really arsed about the server and just gave bare minimum RP. As I have stated these 3 people and also as I said above the low RP standards stood out most from these people, however the standards where slipping all over as resulted in our ban.

These are honestly the people that stood out to me most and I hope you understand the reasons why.

Ok to start off, yes I do believe that the behaviour and actions carried out in the gang was becoming unacceptable leading up to the blanket ban. I believe that this is due to certain people, as I have mentioned above in my last response. Also however as I have mentioned above, the main people breaking rules where a bad influence on everyone else and made the gang look like 99% of it was people there to break rules, when it wasn’t.

Ok now to the other part of the question. The toxic behaviour only came to my attention a few days before the blanket ban. This is because before that I didn’t really play that much and didn’t notice anything bad when I did play. It was about 3 days before the ban I noticed that the selected people were constantly looking for gunfights and not RP. As I didn’t play that often I don’t know what fully went on this is just from my point of view. I’m not going to lie and pretend that I was about to go to staff about it. Being totally honest with you it didn’t enter my mind to inform you as I thought that the bad habits may just die down and the standards would increase. However if the standards were staying low constantly I would have gone to staff about it however we got banned before the chance was available, also if I had realised how low the standards where at this point I would have said something. I believe that KEVIN had a word with some people about gunfights and told them not to always look for them (I’m not too sure on this; it is just what I have been told). I now fully regret not going to the staff and reporting what I knew about the low quality RP, as these low standards continued and resulted in an RP event getting ruined and also me and all the other members of ket being banned. If you can trust me and give me another chance I can assure you that if I get into a similar situation I now know how to deal with it and will react fast before any big time wasting issues occur.

Once again I apologise for the issues caused by me and the members of ket.

I'm sure you are aware that @Nalurah has introduced a recent change in regards to an NHS program for people who are serious about re-joining the community. It's proving pretty effective so far. This is a chance for yourself if you are up to it, to prove to us and show us that you can roleplay and here for high quality role play whilst ensuring you're making it fun for everyone.

Hello Aspect,

The terms for the rehab program and your unban are as followed:

- You will patrol for 11 hours total, 8 of which will be with a member of MTO.
- Until those 11 hours are done you are not allowed to carry any weapon aside from a gun bought at the gunshop at Zaros or Telos.

Failure to abide by these terms will result in you getting banned again. If you finish the 11 hours you can continue playing as any normal player.
