In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.

The reason for my ban was for being in or joining a particular steam group which from what I believe was being offensive or mocking a member(s) of this community. Initially I did not participate within this group of people nor communicate with them directly via steam and within the group itself. As soon as I received my punishment I was confused for why and immediately left the group without hesitation after I read the reason for my ban.

What have you been upto in the last 6 months+ ?

Now some more time has passed I have been very busy doing multiple things. I have now finished my exams and studying further but wanted to take the opportunity to try yet again due to my ban appeal being denied due to the amount of time that passed which was my bad and I was mislead by some false information. I have also have took a good break from arma for quite a while and been doing some more important things in my personal life.

Why do you want to return ?

As said previously it would be great to be able to come back to this community due to this being the starting point of where played Arma and also met so many good people which I have had to miss because of a immature mistake. I have developed as a person over this period of time and believe that I have learnt a firm lesson from this punishment which has felt like forever. I would also like to come back to this community because of how well ran it is and the way that this community promotes collaboration instead of competition. It is a real shame that this has happened and I can't really explain how much it would mean to come back to where I started without the interruption of immature people influencing my decisions which will no longer happen.

Why should we unban you ?

I firmly believe that I should be un-banned because I personally feel that I have learned a lesson from this firm but fair punishment and over the time I have been given I have relfected and overcome the initial reason for my ban. I know it is easy to say it was a 'genuine mistake' but this is literally the hard truth and I would hate to be prevented from playing here and creating so many more memories for a stupid choice on my own behalf.
As I said previously, I never did have the intention of offending anyone with my actions and disturbing or wasting anyone's time on this community like others did and therefore I would not say I am innocent of what I have done but I think that I do deserve another shot at playing here as it is my passion to do so and I would hate to be denied from ever playing here again.

Thanks yet again for reading this explanation and I do sincerely apologise for any offence that I may have caused to members of the community for my actions many months ago.

Act like children get treated like children

I do not believe you ever explained why you joined this group... It was clear what it was about.. so why did you go looking for such a group and then join that certain group?

As declared in both of my previous appeals I stated that it was a silly and genuine mistake, now I do understand that this seems to blatant to be a mistake and it looks like I intentionally meant to harm this community or offend people by joining the group but it really wasn't the case and obviously there is nothing I can show you to prove this point other than you taking my word for it. When steam groups pop up I always joined them passively without questioning their intentions and capabilities. After I was banned I came to the realisation the steam group I was in and therefore left it and also left EVERY steam group that I was and have been in because of the same type of thing ever happening again.

I understand that I was invited to this group and joined on my own accord but I never knew what type of things where happening in this group and that's why I have been waiting to give a full in-depth response to prove to this community that it was never my intention or belief to stay within this group. I also removed multiple people on the day I was banned associated with this group to prevent my chances on not coming back here as well because I do really love this community...

I never went "looking" for such a group as well, I want to make this very clear because I don't go looking around for steam groups and although I am taking the blame off of myself I can't say anything but the truth... it was a genuine misunderstanding that I will never repeat again.

And yes "act like children, get treated like children" is a very valid point to make, the people in this group who were posting the content and associating themselves were immature and sadly because I joined without posting anything or contributing to the group because I joined it instantly put a target over my head and it was a very ignorant decision to make on my behalf which as said multiple times, I will never repeat again.

@Wilco I wouldn't say that you are wrong with this point due to the fact that someone who I used to play with invited me to this particular steam group... the people that I did play with in the past were a group of toxic and immature individuals which I was influenced by due to me playing with them everyday on the server. When we played on the server as a group we were not there for the correct reasons and that's why I have appealed this ban, mainly due to me wanting to come back as an individual not as a group.

In my defence I could of associated with different people like I do now but I cannot reverse my previous mistakes and only reflect and improve in the future. Due to the fact that I no longer talk with these people and have been away for a while I have had a long time to think about this ban and due to it being a combination of mistakes and negative influence I now think I can come back and have a positive effect on the community which will be beneficial.

So another sheep... everyone is a sheep today in these appeals.

Going forward you better be a little more forward thinking in who you are associating with... making a childish little group about me or being part of it has no effect but that could have been easily aimed towards any of our members.

I will give you another chance but you are not blameless, being part of it is bad enough and if your name comes up in the future connected to anything similar then you will be removed again and any appeals will be closed without being read, hope i make myself clear.
