I was banned due to the ket 1.6 blanket ban.

What have you been upto in the last 6 months+ ?

Six months have not passed but i have been chilling out playing with some friends on arma 3 and i have also been spending time with my family, also have been revising.

Why do you want to return ?

I would love to return to this community as this was my first community and would still love to play on it as i have invested countless hours on it and generally love the server as it holds memories and many more to be made(hopefully). I feel very passionate about Arma 3 and rpuk as a whole, after i first played this server i knew it was the one for me! I really enjoy playing as rebel and the roleplay it provides being able to be in control of the situation and having so many different situations with the police and other rebels/civilians. I have made so many friends on this server some of which will stay with me for life, i feel like i was very active on rpuk because i felt it was such a good server. I have GCSES coming soon and feel like after the mountains of revision that is being piled on me at the moment, in my spare time (when im not revising) i love to play arma 3 especially on rpuk. This server was one of the main factors that i bought this game as some friends told me to buy it as it was so much fun, so i did and it was the best decision i have ever made.

Why should we unban you ?

I feel like i should be unbanned because i didn't do anything wrong up until this point i have had 1,300 hours on rpuk all together ( roughly ) and have no bans, nor have i had any warning points playing on this for 8 months which suggests that i follow the rules and try my very hardest not to break the server rules as they are there for a reason. I personally would like to believe im not toxic and have a positive impact on the server. rpuk has had a big impact on my life as it is where i spend most of my hours on weekdays and weekends, i thoroughly enjoy interacting to new people everyday and have different experiences which is why this never gets boring and every single situation is different. I feel like i still have a lot to give for the server and would be very upset if my time ended here, i personally don't like to disappoint people and i feel like i have let down the rpuk community, and would like to formally apologise for that and i would love to give so much more to the server and community of rpuk. The amount of laughs and new friends i have made is amazing, without rpuk this would have never been able to happen or would have been possible; i would love to continue to make new friends and hopefully have many more laughs and good times on this community. I try to stay as mature as i possibly can on here and feel like that is carried through most of the time. When i play on this server i get a great sense of a very loving community and everyone respects each other which has a very positive effect and gives me a great sense of fulfilment . I again would like to apologise to the community and especially to the rpuk admins having to deal with this situation and will try my best in the future to make sure this doesn't happen again.

Leading the life of a rebel often comes with hostile rp by having the guns and such, which will often lead police wanting to take the guns or other rebels wanting the guns or what ever you have on you.When I have tried roleplaying my way out of having a machine gun on my back or having drugs in the truck it always ends up with the police  trying to arrest me no matter what rp that I provide because it is always “why do you have that gun on your back” or “this isn’t a cream you have made this is an illegal substance “, which is then followed by “put your hands on your head otherwise you will be tased” there is no way around it other than losing all of the gear that you have just worked for or having a chance of survival which means disobeying the orders given I do my best to try and get myself out of situations by purely role play but sometimes it isn’t enough. most of the time one thing leads to another where either we try and leave the situation, which then we are always initiated on then we would counter that or we tell them to leave us alone, which mostly results in a gunfight. If I’m in the middle of a drug run say, I’m not going to give up that whole load of drugs easily because I have spent time getting the drugs and that is a lot of potential money to be made, if you are portraying yourself as being in a gang member in rp you have to protect what is yours and your not gonna let someone come take it off you easily.Another reason for this could be doing HMs and RBA treasurarys, When doing these sorts of operations it is for fitting  going all guns blazing and making a lot of money very quickly( like rebels or criminals would do in real life doing a heist, as in rp we are rebel gang/cartel and don’t care about the law) I have tried doing rp banks and such in the past with a document but it is very hard to make a very good and detailed document that is very believable and that then has to be signed by very high police command and when doing the rp in the bank they have a high chance of just being shut down. In ket we did do the smaller RBAs that was solely revolved around not shooting people and was about the rp. we just wanted the money and to get out, no one has to be hurt in the process. When we were negotiating  the police would often find any little excuse to call negotiations off and then start a gunfight, I can also tend to tell when a situation is going south and prepare my self for the worst case scenario. This is probably why you have seen my name in the kill feeds, I do love to rp and am quite happy to talk to other rebels/police but as I have stated above it always ends up with me either a hostage/dead/robbed or paying a ticket, I don’t have a problem with these things happening as it is part of the role of playing rebel life but you  have to fight back sometimes to defend yourself and you gang members.

I think you are just trying to feed us with what we want to hear tbh ^

We allow to many people like yourself to play on our servers and just run around killing with low quality roleplay. 

Your name was constantly appearing in the staff chat to keep an eye on you. This happened more than once. Every-time staff came to check. It was another RBA. 

I fail to see any of your roleplay capabilities other than 8 frag videos?

You may not have been banned previously which indicates to me you either was following the rules or just slipped under the radar, however since your time in Ket. This has obviously been flagged up on how you played.

Why should I allow you the time of day when all the staff seen was just constant gun fights?

I do disagree that what i wrote was what you just wanted to hear, everything i said above was in my personal experience which is why there is so much, Most of the experiences i have had is that cops will again always take you illegal gear that you have on you like i have stated above. Im not trying to just 'feed' you what you want to hear this are again all my personal experiences. 

I do believe that my roleplay for the most has of a high standard but at times i again do feel that some of my roleplay can slip and some of it could be improved. Every initiation i did was my opinion of a high standard but again sometimes as humans we can drop the ball and lose sight of what is right.

If my name was constantly appearing in staff chat why was i never warned/ or told to stop doing what i was doing? In my eyes if im not being told to stop doing what im doing how am i supposed to know im doing anything wrong? If i was told to stop i would have stopped that very second. I do agree we often did RBA's but again we/i were not told to stop doing them and we so we continued doing them as it was very quick and easy money, this does not make it right and the amount of them we did we shouldn't of, we should have limited on how many we did.

About the frag videos, i personally do them as a past time i enjoy getting and putting the clips together i don't know why but i find quite satisfying and a fun past time. i do agree it does not portray me in a good light what so ever but its not just me that make these videos most of the community does and i think that is why so many of them are made.

I have not been banned in past because i have been following the rules as they are there for a reason and they shouldn't be broken.  I have played this server for 8 months and have never been banned I would say this is my first slip up and if i was unbanned this would not happen again.

Joining KET wasn't one of my best ideas and I do again agree that while i was in KET i did become too frag hungry and know this is unacceptable and isn't tolerated on this community and over the time i have been banned i have realised what i did was wrong and again if i was unbanned i would make sure this would not happen. To prove that i can roleplay i am more than happy to join the medics ( One of the most heavy roleplay factions on the server) and do  a certain amount of hours a week just to prove to the admins and community i am not just here to frag but to roleplay and that my roleplay is of a high standard.

You had been warned days before the KET blanket ban because of combat logging by Madmatt. You state as something that counts in your favour your time on this server. Obviously a good thing but also a reason why you don't constantly receive warnings. We expect people after a certain time to know the rules and follow them.

Now most people use the excuse of joining the medics to show their roleplay. Often enough it in the end doesn't happen or they become a poor bunch of medics who often revive their own friends mainly. Not exactly the most convincing argument.

So I have two questions for you:
1. What can you bring to the server that we haven't heard and seen fail a hundred times before?
2. What would you consider is the most important rule on our rules page and why?

@Nalurah Thank you for your reply.

To start off with your first question, i personally think that when i do push my roleplay as hard as i can, i feel it is very enjoyable not only for me but the people i am role playing with as well, but while i was in KET i lost sight of this and became something that i do not want to repeat. I can promise you that i will continue my roleplay capabilities that are  of a high standard if i am unbanned. I personally believe in the most tense situations that when  i have to be quick on my feet and talk to people and such i use story's and such that no one else can deliver as i can. My new ideas of different scenarios and how to handle them again i feel like i am very good at doing and again i find this very enjoyable and i will not let you ( Staff team and community) down again.

As to your second question,  "(1.2) Discrimination of any kind is punished by a permanent ban without appeal."  This is ONE of the many very important rules. This is very important to me as no one should come on here and have to deal with some individual's disgusting behaviour, this is a adult community and should stay that way. There is no reason/excuse to discriminate against someone, and for those who do, get what they deserve with this rule. "Treat people how you would like to be treated" this rule really helps this expression and this quote i feel very strongly about as it is a very valuable life lesson . I also feel that this has helped many people in the past for those repulsive people to be rid of this community and let the people that have been discriminated against go back to having fun on server role playing! However on this community i would say all of the rules are very important as well as if there wasnt all of them this server would not run as it was very hard for me to choose just one, but again this one prevailed through the rest.

@Nalurah Thank you for the reply.

I will firstly improve my role play by not everything ending with a gunfight. While i was in KET everything we did ended up in a gunfight however if I was unbanned this wouldn’t happen.  I will make sure everything that I do will be of a high standard. I will also try to improve my role play by getting into more role play situations. I will also dedicate more of my time to role play than gunfights.

Secondly I would do role play HMs even though they are very hard to do, I am willing to do them to prove to the staff team that I can actually role play and that I’m not all about gunfights. Doing and dealing with these types of situations helps me improve on my role play and in the future will also help not only with bank operations but with role playing round the island.

In addition like I said in one of my reply’s im planning to join the medics (If I get unbanned), which will again improve my roleplay standards and will make me think in a very different way. As a medic I will be interacting with more people and dealing with more people role play that they provide me. I will also learn new role play tactics from the other medics for new and inventive ways of role playing as a medic.

I can also assure you that I will not make the same mistakes as last time and my role play will improve. I have had time to think about my role play while in ket and fully understand it wasn’t acceptable.

If you wish to get unbanned the terms are as followed:

- You will join the medics as soon as possible.
- You are not allowed to use any guns except the ones you can buy at the gunstore in Zaros and Telos until you reach the rank of paramedic.

You are allowed to wear rebel gear, just not use the guns.

If agreed you will become the second member of the NHS Rehabilitation program.
