Performance increase?

As I am unable to access the server until later this evening, I am wondering if there are any performance increases in the new update? Also when should we expect a post detailing all of the new features?

Performance wise, this will really depend on your build, I can tell you from my side as a semi-budget/ advanced potato build, I'm getting the same 30-40 frames as before. 

Unsure about the announcement just now though.
