How do I get and sell pearls ?

dive down at clams, clam pro and then pearl trader. can only be done in a boat. takes a while but isn't really worth it.

It is terrible money wise imo, dont do it.

Takes quite some time as well, I would personally stick to something either legal (e.g diamonds) or illegal (e.g drugs), as they are easier and faster.
