Pearls don't stay in inventory!

Ok, so I'm not sure if this is intended or not, but if I log out and I have clams or pearls on me, they are gone when I come back. This includes server restarts.

Is this supposed to happen? If so, why? It's very irritating.

Prevents you from teleporting the pearls from one place to another.

^ what he said,.. To many players just filled their inventory, relogged closer to the processing and in that way deny others the ability to rob you along the way, ruining the gameplay.
