PC dying and coming back to life after being confronted with Slav

So,I was playing BF1 beta today, after couple of matches my PC heated up as usual, nothing concerning that the case was close to hurting temperature.

Suddenly it went off,I thought no bloody way the PSU died again(I had changed it last June due to it having minor issues with fire and stuff, the new one actually had the standard set of protection) ,I opened the case, saw nothing unusual and smelt no smoke,I decided to turn it on.

BAM,i heard a popping sound and saw a flash coming out from MOBO,I immediately hit the power switch, kicked the PC in PSU area, touched it in various places to see if it's unusually hot and saw nothing concerning.I left it alone for 10 minutes to reconsider it's actions, put a bottle full of ice inside the case and waited 30 minutes.

After preparing my fire extinguisher I turned it on again just to notice it's booting properly. So far everything is working which is well, interesting

need proper close-ups with good light of motherboard (both sides), sounds to me like a short, and whatever caused it either got burnt up or knocked loose after. wrong section if your genuinely looking for help, but right sections if your looking for vague excuses to take pictures that you may or may not have a functioning weapon.

Hey bud, So its most likely you are using a shit thermal paste. Most computers have safety features that shutdown the computer when the core reaches a certain temperature to save it from popping and crackling like you experience.

Also it doesn't look like you have proper air flow through your case, I don't see a exhaust fan. It's really important you have a ratio of 1:2, 1 intake and 2 out because if you don't have proper air flow the stagnant air inside can cause temperatures to rise.

ps. You have a really long thumb

pps. Looks like a bb gun

I did not post this with intent of needing help, consider it a picture out of Slav life, the mobo itself lost 2 MOSFETs,burnt straight through and I decided not to keep it plugged so I won't loose other components, now about the airflow,I couldn't care less, unlike western burgeoise I don't have enough cash to justify the cost for buying them fans and the thermal paste has nothing to do with dis,CPU OCed by 900 mhz never exceeded 60C with low rpm,I only give it 1.28 v in the end.If anything caused the pc to turn off,it'd be the mobo itself shutting the system down to save the vrms ;)

ps.long fingers are useful

pps.there's no visual difference between my ak and a bb ak m8
