What the Pathogen is

The pathogen is unique to Altis, with no current identifiable name, we have named it Subject X for this operation. Once in the body Subject X rapidly multiples and each pathogenic cell releases a neurotoxin known as Tetrodotoxin.

This specific molecular compound has the ability to cause temporary paralysis in usual circumstances, however due to the bacterium Subject X’s structure, this neurotoxin that is produced has significantly greater risks than in its usual state, this toxin has the ability to incapacitate the human brain and trigger neurons in a sequential order, that makes the people have a desire to harm others.

Symptoms of the Pathogen

Symptoms of the pathogen include temporary paralysis, excruciating pain within the head caused by the brain swelling and many other abnormal signs of a regular bacterial infection. Specifically, Subject X makes people want to harm others, so this symptom MUST be check for, however usually hosts of the disease do not admit this, therefore extra care should be taken when testing people for the pathogen.

In order to diagnose this pathogen, a blood test of anyone with regular bacterial infection symptoms should be taken, if the neurotoxin Tetrodotoxin is present in the blood stream, a vaccination must be administered.

Thanks to Jackdevo for making the papers, and checkpoint will be at athira checkpoint.

Could also police officers on duty come to the checkpoint to help the nhs if needed :)

I don't know what half of these words even mean, but I'm here to help.

The City Wok may have had an outbreak of these symptoms in two of our staff members of recent... @MrWong and i remember it well!
We suspect this bug may have been brought over on a sample of our illegally imported super puffer fish we used for the 'super city battered fishy dishy' we marketed for two weeks in November!

In case this is the cause of this malarkrey; I would like to help you get to the bottom of this before the probrem spread and City Wok get a nasty phone call from DEFRA!

Luckily, we both have put noodles on hold as we have had our super detective skills recognised by the most honourable altis police force (look at my gorgeous new hat), and would like to dedicate some of our shift time into helping you guys at the checkpoint... especially as we know how these symptoms can manifrest themselves!

PC Mr. Chee
