Hey guys! Is there any really good guides to overclocking Intel cpus, and nvidia gpus out there? And also i got a problem. I have installed my 128gb of ram, but only 64gb of it is being noticed by the PC? https://gyazo.com/177e9e8699c1cf48c0a4e56c02ff9844

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Motherboard is X99 Rampage V Extreme if that helps!

@TacticalPanda

I'll gladly take the other 64GB of you for free ;)

With overclocking you  need a good cooler, after that it's basicly just altering the frequency and voltage untill a stable overclock has been reached with reasonable temperatures. Use programs like Prime to test your CPU.

Lol i may do a contest for the ram :D

I have successful got the cpu to around 4000mhz, but idk why it crashes when i put it to 4500mhz.

The gpu crashed to when it is overclocked to around 1450mhz.

I'd check online about the overclocking.  But the most RAM you can have is 64GB

Memory Capacity:

64GB

Up the voltage on the motherboard a little bit, then k eep upping the voltage untill it's stable

Voltage for CPU and GPU? And what is it called in the motherboard?

How much should i up it by each time?

Only for the thing you're trying to overclock.

Cpu voltage is called: core voltage

Atleast, in my motherboard(Gigabyte something...)

Overclocking the gpu can be done with programs like MSI afterburner(I use this for overclocking my gpu)

For the love of god please read up before you start slamming up the voltages of things and expecting wonders.

Dont just jump from 4 to 4.5 and expect your pc to be stable.

Just be careful with putting more voltage through your cpu unless you are rich..

heh heh he just slammed in 128GB of ram without checking it would work. I would say rich enough lol.

You have a point.
