Opinions?

I'm looking for parts for a new mini-itx build. I've come up with these parts so far… just looking for opinions on them if any. And where you'd choose differently :)

** update **

I've made an updated parts list. Different case, different PSU, upgraded to an i7 and managed to knock off ~£50 from the original list:

** another update **

Same list as the one above but with a gtx 1080 instead of the 1070. this list is only ~£100 more than the original list which only had an i5 and 1070. This is me trying to give myself a reason to spend the extra money for the better horse power.

Everything is great except the CPU. If you want Arma to run like as smooth as a pillow case you'd be best off going for an Intel Core i7 6300k

i7 is the way to go yes!... but the i5 you have there is respectable if your hands are tied by staying on budget.

I totally agree. I could potentially upgrade to the i7 if need be but, (and I may be totally wrong in thinking that this may make a difference to the performance of the game in general) the game is getting updated to 64 bit and my thinking is that this will make even an i5 run smoothly depending on how well they port it to 64 bit from 32 bit.

Again, correct me if my logic is wrong :) if I'm wrong then I'll just change the cpu to an i7 but if it does make it fine on an i5 then that's a saving I'd love to have :p

The i5 6600k is a beast. It may not have hyperthreading and may only be a four core processor however it overclocks to 4.7 and will run arma fine. It has the same performance as the i7 4790k
