Looking back in 2003 we had glorious thick manuals with the games we buy which you could spend up to 15-30 mins reading good times we lived in there some examples below
However now we spend between £40-50 pound for a game and all we get is a big case with a disk / cart inside examples from Kotaku and the net.. I do think we have now come to age of download and streaming however companies seem to keep prices same or high even if you purchase and downloaded a video game which does not have a case and manual it goes to show that major publishers are profiteering and their excuse is we want to keep prices fair and balance between a hard copy and a download copy which is bonkers right?
£45-50 pound for game like below probably £10 is just for the plastic case
