OGAME. LET'S DO IT.

How's about we all find a universe on OGame (a browser-based strategy game where you buy stuff and build massive fleets. Basically, EVE Online but free and for the browser.) and make it our own. c:

I'm gonna set up a nice starting position on Universe Betelguese. 

If you've played OGame and haven't set up on a different universe before, and are use to the vanilla gameplay of OGame, make sure you remember that everything is super fast and you get 20k DM after e-mail validation.

You can't really interact until you really get started, so post questions here on exactly how to do it. 

This guide will somewhat help, but keep in mind that it is made for Universe 1, where there is no speed boosts or 20k DM.

edit: i guess ogame went more pay to win. spent the 20k DM on the commander that gives you building queue or you will shoot yourself ;-;

Holy shit!! I used to tan this game back in the day. Has it changed much? All I remember is that it was a huge struggle to get a moon by sacrificing light fighters

As any game, it has become extremely pay to win. You have to pay actual money for a building queue. Luckily, one of these universes give you 20k DM to buy two weeks of building queue right from the bat. (Oh, and to no surprise, the DM cost for officers increases on the server that gives you 20k DM.)

Thats such a shame. I played a lot of games like Ogame but they all slowly turned pay to win (Ikariam, Evony ETC)

Follow the quickstart guide and you'll get a decent amount of resources. c: You need to balance everything out.
