Off & On duty medic life

I have a question, Let's say I'm a medic, can I be stopped by the police and thrown into jail on duty if I have done something illegal when I have been off duty? Or so can I be on duty paramedic and off duty rebel and gang member? Or do I have to have other Arma 3 ingame profile for being a medic and other for rebel and gang life?

You need separate Arma profiles. One for your off-duty stuff e.g James Travers and one for being on duty e.g FA. James Travers. Don't worry though all of your money stays the same across all of your Arma profiles on the server. Also Police cannot arrest you whilst you are on duty. But doing anything illegal whilst on duty is Strictly Prohibited. And last but not least you can indeed do illegal things on your rebel profile, just not the NHS one.

Alright, Thank you that helped!

Actually you do not need to create a separate profile, doing so requires you to change your keybindings for each profile (which is a real pain if you have as many as I do!). I just change the name of my profile - all the server's information is based off of your steam profile and the slot you connect to the server in; your Arma 3 profile pretty much only affects the name you connect to servers with (and other things but they're not important here).
You can also be pulled over by the police and arrested on duty if you doing something wrong and refuse to cooperate. If you do not stick to the speed limits when not responding to an incident then the police can pull you over for that as you are not excluded from road safety laws.
But yes, you aren't allowed to do any jobs on duty (you can't actually collect anything anyway) and why would you want to; roleplaying and reviving will get you more money and you'll feel better about it. You are allowed to do whatever you want when not playing as an NHS member. They can be part of any other whitelisted faction and they will almost certainly have no effect on the other role.

Wish you the best of luck doing whatever you choose to do!

Also Police cannot arrest you whilst you are on duty.
Police can arrest, it has happened previously. CMO's have said if you get pulled over for speeding or something else, pay the ticket! We do not want to be seeing NHS going into prison. NHS must always follow law!

To get something very clear. You are not allowed to pefrom any illegal activity while on NHS Duty under any circumstances.

However, you are allowed to pefrom illegal activities when you are a medic and you are Off duty and not playing as NHS. And yes, police can still arrest you if you get caught doing something illegal when you are off duty as a medic.

If you have any other questions feel free to ask them! It is always better to ask and know, then break a rule without knowing ;D

Yeah don't bother making a new profile it's just more effort if you have multiple key bindings.

However we have had medics in the past get tickets or get arrested (however the game wont let you put them in prison)

Off duty is a completely different life so in theory you can do whatever you want

Hello.

I personally have 5 different profiles that i use on RPUK.

I have my civ, unmc, medic, undercover name and 1 extra as spare for what ever i want.

Now its a pain in the behind to change your key settings when you are switching. the benefit is that you only need to switch or change it ones.

After that your good to go and its a click click and your rdy for your story.

If you have the rong profile or name selected you will need to relog and change it before you can play again.

During your patrol as stated by the CMO you are not allowed to do anything illegal.

Bad you are allowed to Lockpick someone out of a locked car. this of course when there is a patient inside of it.

As always RP everthing and enjoy your time in the NHS!
