It does not matter what kind of animal you have, most people Love their animals. They consider them members of the family me included. for that reason I wrote something that I hope many of you like this post, and will possible share with others because in my opinion, this is how it should be...

[SIZE=10pt]1) My life is likely to last twenty or more years. Remember that before you take me home.
2) Give me time to understand what you are asking from me. Communication will be the key to our friendship.
3) Place your trust in me, it is essential to my well-being, and our relationship.
4) Do not be angry with me for long, and do not lock me up as punishment. You have your work, your entertainment, and your friends. I….. have only you. Any separation from you will be painful for me.
5) Talk to me. Even if I do not understand your words, I do recognize your voice, and it calms me when you speak softly to me.
6) Be aware that I may be a large animal; however, I am very sensitive to the touch and my feelings can be hurt easily.
7) Remember before you strike me that I may forgive you; however, I will never forget. I am very powerful and could easily hurt you, but choose not to.
eight. Before you scold me for being uncooperative, obstinate or lazy. Ask yourself if something might be bothering me. Perhaps I have a problem that you are not yet aware of.
9) Take care of me when I am old. You two will be old one day.
10) Stay with me on my last journey. Never say you cannot bear to watch, do not let me go alone. Everything is easier for me when you are present.[/SIZE]
