Off-duty police rules

Hi all,

I'm aware of the police rules regarding playing off-duty being quite strict, however there is one thing I'm unsure of.

How often can you play as a civilian (off-duty) without being called into question?

The reason I'm asking is because I have a friend who will be joining the server today and I want to play with him to make sure he fully understands the rules, as well as getting a good grip of how to play, so that he can enjoy himself and not get into trouble. I don't want to play as a civilian, I'm only a PCSO and have been on the police force since Saturday.

If I'm able to play off-duty, do I have to change my name completely or just remove my rank whilst in-game?

Just Remove you're rank But hold you're name don't do illegal things if you get robbed and you kill someone in self defence just Go to the police station say what happened And if im sure you can only have a pistol at this point on this rank.

 
Play civ, nobody is going to poke around and ask questions unless you give them reason to believe you're a naughty boy. All your aliases can be found on the stats page and any bounties you may have. I know a few cops that play civ but stay legal and nobody says a thing.

 
You can play a civilian as often as you like, you just can't do any illegal activities. You can change your name, or use the same one (with removing your rank out of your name). But you will still be an off duty police officer. SO NO ILLEGAL ACTIVITES

 
Simple version, don't carry anything bigger than a vermin, only shoot your gun when shot at. Don't do drugs, Don't steal cars, Don't troll the police. Simple things really. (Just don't be a dick)

You can play civ whenever you want, just remember to play as a cop. Just don't do anything illegal and you'll be fine.
