OBS Gamepad Push To Talk

basically i want to use an xbox pad to play dark souls 3 , i want to stream but Push to Talk is a must for me because of the kids and the missus, basically i want to use one of my buttons on my pad so i dont have to switch over  to keyboard so i can talk on my stream, but the obs studio doesnt register any buttons from my xbox one controller, any ideas how i can get round that

I used it a lot on Arma3 in the police to configure keyboard binds for Sirens / Lights / ANPR on my controller.
