Hey, i have this weird problem where i any sound that's right in front of me EG: someone speaking whilst i look at them

Is this something everyone experiences or is it just myself?

Sounds like you might have disabled your front speaker on your headset, are they surround sound? I did this before with replacing the front speaker with a Bass thingy.

I used to have this glitch, not sure how I fixed it though.
You could try (re)installing your headset/soundcard drivers
If you have your headset plugged into the backpanel of your pc or anyother place try plugging it somewhere else eg the front panel.
In audio settings in arma 3 there is an option called sound sources. Not sure of it's use but might be related.
Or maybe your headset/arma is just broken.
Hopefully this will help, if not good luck!

had a remote support call with this the other day, Corsair Voids Wireless, which have this as a very intermittent issue in some games, I have noticed the surround sound has issues with some games whilst using the wireless protocol, I'm afraid the only way to fix it is by seriously faffing about with drivers (I had to downgrade mine to get it to work properly) or replacing the headset :/ which i know is really shit advice, but im afraid its the best I can give. Or just turn off Surround Sound.

Fingers crossed somebody has the identical headset and has already resolved it and can tell you how. But yeah 7.1 & wireless + Arma3 :( :( :(

p.s. if you do fix it please let us know what steps you took for future peeps :)
