I’m Norman, I joined the island in January this year, although I’d been planning to join for a year and half before that. I was just finalizing the trip and making sure I had the requirements to be on the island.
When I arrived I bumped into @Scott Williams who turned me from doing apple picking to weed runs. I started off trying to bump into apples and bumped into an Admin who I still don’t know the name of now but at the time was called Cecil (or something similar) he told me he wasn’t an admin but a magician. A day later I bumped into @Drew doing a social experiment, you could rob him or walk away, I robbed him but he said he would have gave me 100k anyway…
I decided in February I wanted to join the NHS, I signed up and my application got accepted by @Billy and I had my interview by @Reborn who I found very scary at the time. I went on my first patrol with @Ponty who was very nice although most of the situations we attended there was a gunfight so we had to leave.
During my time as a student I joined ‘Defiance’ a small gang with myself, @CASHIN MY GIRO @Scott Williams and a few more, this ended quickly and I joined The Copper Kings and met @McShev and @iArranx
I was eager to get first aider in the NHS and had my fasttrack done by @Newt in the whole hour I revived one person as my internet dropped out every 5 minutes but my roleplay must have been good as I got FA.
At the same time, I was doing lots of work in TCK and starting to make some money with @CASHIN MY GIRO and @McShev
When the time came for me to be ready for a fasttrack to paramedic it was done by @CST Salty Vampire who I remember spent most the patrol doing chemistry homework but I still managed to get promoted.
I patrolled as a paramedic with my new hatchback sports and orcas and had my road incident responder test done by @Ayrton which I passed. I then did lots and lots of patrols in the NHS until I bumped into @INS Willis who told me to apply for MTO, by the time I got around to applying for MTO @Reborn was incharge. I remember at one the meetings in the middle of march I got promoted to Doctor, MTO and got medic of the week! I was so happy! The three or four weeks I was MTO I hammered the hours in doing 15-20 hours a week.
Then the time came for me to join air rescue, @CST Joel Denning did my test the first time and I failed, so I practiced during the week and the week after passed with @DR Elliot Ash
Now then came the sad part, my time being an MTO and air rescuer came to an end, which was all my own fault. So walking out the door I took a break from the NHS.
I then spent lots of time doing stuff for The Copper Kings, remaking the database* and adding ranks etc, adding applications and interviews and trying to get the gang off the ground. I managed to get promoted to the Captain rank, which I still hold now.
(*Actually @CMO Marc Smith and @CST TomTheDoge did the databases )
I’m still a Doctor in the NHS but don’t patrol as often. I also forgot to mention I help out the British Airways administration with @Cadetbus and @Amberswhich I enjoy doing. I’m enjoying my life as a rebel and hope to try and further enjoy my time in both the NHS and British Airways very soon!
Who knows what the future may hold but the best is yet to come!
