I want to take up a topic which i find important.
We all know how it is that wen less then 5/10 cops are on, the drug price falls.
Most people would think thats a good thing, but i want to ask, Is it?

The reason i want to start this discussion are simple.
I play during night time, and i often play alone or with 2-3 more cops. And we litarly don't have anything too do on duty.
Maybe we are lucky and a person text us asking if we can keep him safe wile he dose a copper or iron run.
Because by now most rebels and civilans have figured out its more profitable to do leagal things during night time. and this is a RP killer for us few cops who enjoy playing during night time.
Has of right now i was just on duty alone, and i felt i was not needed on the server, so i logged ut to rather write this then go watch a movie. because i dont have any fun RP on the server, yes i can go talk to people doing legal stuff, and have some interaction with them. but the feeling of not beeing helpfull or needed is killing inside. because you do want to help out people. and do you job and keep thhe drugs and violence off the street. heck, i hardly even see people during night time with illigal rifles, because they dont need them.

I hope to hear what other people think. and maybe even hope to get it changed. tbh i dont even get why they changed it in the first place. market was good has it was before. withh price decreesing afther how much people sell. wich is much more RP realistic

 
As far I'm aware the price got dropped when less than 5 cops due to certain gangs and people going on late and doing their drugruns to then use the money the next day to buy equipment and then repeating that, lowering amount of drugruns on the day by 2/3(what it felt like). I honestly think that this system is good and it may just simply be that nighttime is slow due to it being a UK server and most people are sleeping. However I do agree night times are very slow I don't think there is too much that can be done

 
Not much that can be done really, we can't force pepole to play at late times since it is a game. On days lile fridays and saturdays I tend to be on until maybe 4-5 in the morning since no school/work. But durning week days most pepole go off around the 12-01 time. But as Weasly said the drug runs were horrible as a cop becuase some pepole were on 6 in the morning just farming weed runs telling cops "fuck off or die" Becuase there was maybe 3 cops on and 6 rebels. So when this feture got added it made the grind a bit harder and pepole sold thier stuff at day times when there were actual pepole on.

(This might be horrible written due to me being sick and just waking up)

 
I play at night time very often and i end up robbing weed more often then daytime so maybe you aren't going at the right times.

Have you done so recently, and i speak mostly about from 2am till 8-9am. several of the times ive been around now no one has even touched the prosessing, if you look away from that one big heli that was filling up hes house.

And Hoax you might be right that sometimes there might be uneven odds betwin some rebels and cops during night, but most of the time has i have seen its 3-4 rebels togheder at tops, + its not always easy for night grinders anyways has they also have the risk of being robbed by other rebels, now i'm my self a cop on the server just to make sure that has been clearly stated, and many of my friends like NTesla @Jack RippoffVongunka Brad Miller and many other rebels can probably confirm, is that doing weed during night time isnt always the most easy, because its few people on. meaning there are not many doing illigal things. because you always have thos who do leagal things. so the cops are more focused on a few people.
And maybe your right that its better that they sell drugs during day time.
But why do we actualy judge them for doing weed at night? beside with the old system the price did decreese anyway, making it to my point better, because that ment you could do a few good runs. were we has cops actualy had something too do. instead off maybe finding one guy now trying to fill hes house if we are lucky. i already know a few people who no longer play at night time because they dont like too do the leagal things. there for by having this you also ruin there gaming experience. 

And what is the harm that people farm at night to use at day? most well experienced players have at least 50millions or more, so how come you feel money is the issue? people already have lots of money. i know for a fact that one of the usual night farmers have 300mill... so cutting hes income now dont rly do any affect other then ruin hes experience.

This is ofc only my opinion.

It's odd reading this though, when I came online and you were the only officer, I was actually under the impression that you'd be more busy given the proportion of cops to civilians. Admittedly, if I knew you'd be willing to accompany us on our night iron runs, I'd be more than thrilled to have you as protection! I was simply unaware that was actually an option.

 
The thing is changin back to the old system where slling drugs with little to no cops on makes money making way too easy. When I was in tck a while back I remember being on as a civ from 3 in the morning untill 6-7 I managed to make 6 million alone using drugs in my house,lsd,tons of weed and living 500 meter from a drug dealer in kavala. Was good at the time becuase I had 400k and I couldn't loose my truck so 25 minutes for 1 million was just not good when you had no trouble. Myself I prefer keeping the 5 cop system due to it being a little harder for civs to make money 5 in the morning. But hey that's from my point after being a rebel for a while and a cop for a few weeks in total now. 

 
I understand what you mean by that, but there is no solution for this issue since its player side not server side.

Only solution is that more players from US will play or more players that like playing at night time...

I personally play at random times so sometimes i do daytime and night time and sometimes just night or just day times. 

It is very odd because daytime there are 2 full servers and night time theres 30-40 players...

during real night ttime its around 8-16 people. and for 1-2 cops thats no problem controlling usualy

 
If drug prices go back up, people will just exploit a few cops online to make loads of money during times when most people can't be online. This used to be the case and it's very unfair for most players. Your roleplay wouldn't get any better either, you would just get gangs coming into Kavala to sell drugs and tell you to fuck off if you get too close. I know it's boring for cops at that time, but raising drug prices won't help that problem.

For the record, raising drug prices would benefit me loads as I'm usually on during these low pop times.

 
Cops moan when all civilians do is drugs... devs make it so when cop count is low it deters people's from doing drugs.. cops now mon because they can't stop people doing drugs?... doesn't make sense?..

If you're bored past 12AM and there's still a fair few civilians it's time to change mentality.. start looking for civs doing their legal runs and protect them. Go to the traders and scout them, get NPAS up over Kavala and search for those petty robberies. Perform traffic stops and ticket those speeding!

As people have pointed out this was changed so that people didn't 'exploit' the low cop counts at 3AM and still get full bucks selling their weed. It's not exactly fair on those that do the daytime as they have so much more risk, although we are aware there are people that only play st night time.

 
I honesty like the fact the price drops when there is less than 5 cops. This prevents rebels from obscene amounts of cash so quickly. Hell I remember when there was me and 2 officers watching 5 hemmit boxs sell drugs. We couldnt do anything due to the 1vs3 rule.

 
For me it is deifficult to say if it bothers me. I just store stuff in a house and sell it during the day. But I am sure that cop who are doing the night shift suffer from less people duing illegal stuff at night.

 
Right, so I disagree with people wanting it back, it's too dangerous. 

Rebels selling drugs full price, 24/7 on all servers. It's way too op. People use to go on server 2 midday and do drug runs, and not one hobo I mean full gangs. It was abused to hell. 

If you are bored at night time go protect people doing copper/iron, pull random people over for s routine traffic stop. Heck log on civ and make some money. 

I understand the frustration, but we need the balance. 

 
I agree. Most rebels who are doing drug runs are storing the drugs to sell at a more profitable time. The server actually becomes more akin to a farming simulator after 1-2am.

Indeed nothing really happens since its just turning in to a farming simulator basicly.

 
The smart rebels would store it in a house and wait for 5 cops. 

Since when did the police want crime?
