Where do I begin,
I moved to the island of Altis on the 13th of October 2015, I landed on the dock of Kavala, a large bustling city full of inserting people and a large shopping area. The first couple of days I was I was exploring the city of Kavala to get my bearings and also to see the sights, going to the beach, looking around the Castle, spending money in the shops and talking with the other locals. Within a week of arriving at Altis I had gotten my car licence and I had brought my first car a lovely white pickup truck second hand of course with a large dent and a missing fearing on the offhand side of the pickup but it did the purpose of getting me to A to B!
I spend a good few weeks in Kavala driving around the city and eventually driving to Agios, Agios is a small town but still a popular place to visit. I was there for a good week having a look around and while I was there I was looking to get my truck license, I passed first time and went and got my self a little treat, a lovely red Boxtruck, I tucked my pickup away and drove back to Kavala with my new Boxtruck to hunt down a job. The first job I got was an apple picker, hard work long shifts in the hot rays of the sun but well worth it and a good first job, Id been working at the apple farm for a while now and I saved up enough to get my cider brewing licence and starting my own little business, I would sell my cider to the local pups and they pay a fair price of my cider. Months flew past and my cider business was going down hill, the price of cider was going down and pup landlords would not pay up it was time to look for a new carrier.
I headed to the market in Kavala brought myself a pickaxe and headed to the copper mine, the prospector was happy to employ me, I had done it, gotten a new job and I was back on track. I was working 9-5 mining copper shipping it to the copper processor in my little red boxer then back down to the copper exporter, I was mining copper for over year it was grate, safe and good money but on one day in particular it all changed for the worst, I cannot recall the exact day or remember much but I can tell you this much. I woke up and it was a normal day like another, I headed to work down the copper mine I filled my little red boxer up and headed to the copper processor all was going well, the copper machine was doing its thing crushing the ore and then smelting it into copper bars, I had just finished my last load of copper and I was placing it into the back of the boxer, I then hear a man shouting in an aggressive manor, I turn around there he was, a masked man with a pistol held to my head. I didn't know what to do I was panicking my hand and legs where shacking he was shouting demands at me but I was too scared to move, he wanted my red boxertruck full of copper bars, my life was not worth a truck, I gave him the keys and watched my little red boxer disappear in could of dust. I was shaken up but still alive, I headed back to the closest garage to get out the pickup and headed back to my boss at the copper mine to explain what happened. It didn't end well. I lost my job at the copper mine due to losing my boxer and the prospectors copper. Although I did make some money working for him, it was time to get back on my feet and look for new work.
That week I went to the truck store and purchased a new bigger truck the blue orange combination Zamak truck. I went to Kavala and asked around whats a good job to go for people suggested I head to the salt flats or the sand dunes. I was on my way to the salt flats to see if I could snap up a job, on the way I past what looked like to me a mine, I looked at the rocks they where glistening and making a rainbow affect when the sun directly was on them, they where diamonds, I pulled over got my pickaxe and filled my truck to the brim. I had to get them cut to get the most amount of profit from them, I got them cut in a matter of hours and then sped down to the jewelers in Kavala, He looked at them to see what quality they where, he liked what he saw and I made a huge amount of money. from that day on I mind diamonds, I have been doing it for years now and I keep finding more. One day while I was mining diamonds I saw this ambulance fly by with its lights flashing sirens booming I looked further down the road and there was this awful car collision, a car had a head on with a truck and burst into flames, I jumped in my truck and headed down to see if I could help the NHS staff, they instructed me to stand back and keep away from the fire, I could feel the heat from a good ten meters away, the medics manged to get the gentlemen out of the car and rushed them to the local hospital, I never did find out if they where okay, I sat where the crash happened I was quite and deep in thought, I wanted to help them but I couldn't do anything to help, I looked at my truck full of diamonds and then looked back to where the crash happened, I thought whats more important to me diamonds and money or another humans life. I rushed back to the garage locked up my truck headed to the hospital and handed in my CV. One week after I handed it in I got a call to come in and have an interview, I passed with a score of seventy three. I have been in the NHS for over two years now and I'm loving it, been promoted to first aider and hopefully in time ill get another promotion soon.
Finally after years and years working for the NHS its paid off I got my promotion to Medic, As a Medic you to do some specialist driving skills test, the test was your skill in driving and reaction time to dangers in the more faster NHS vehicles, I past with flying colours, I have yet to reach goal of becoming a Doctor in the NHS. Only time will tell. When I'm off-duty I do go back to the place where it all began from time to time, where I chose to work for the NHS and save lives, I don't regret it all I just wish I knew what happened to the poor driver in the crash. I decided to do some digging, I headed to Athira Police station to see if I could find the officers that where involved on that day, unfortunately they where not there however a desk sergeant was there and I told him the story, he then apologized for not being able to help but offered me some files and records of the injured man in the blaze. As I was walking out the station I saw a poster saying "Altis Needs You" with a picture of a PCSO pointing at me, I headed back inside and questioned the desk sergeant about it and he explained that the Police was understaffed and need new officers to join. After a good couple of hours talking with the desk sergeant bleeding out info on how to become a PSCO I headed home to write up my CV, the every next day I handed it into the Police station. A good month had past till I had my interview, I passed and was to go onto the next step phase one training, phase one lasted about one week and got your fitness up , then it was to move to phase two, phase two was more intense training we had to run though some hostage and riot scenarios scary but bloody good fun! phase two lasted about three weeks. Once phase two was done it was time for me to get my Number and blue uniform.
