So today me and a few friends decided to purchase Arma after seeing numerous videos about role playing on Arma 3, after a hefty download and waiting over 2 days for us all to get ready and installed we decided to try out the Role Playing servers and after a little bit of research (possibly not enough research!) decided to try out your Altis life UK server.
Obviously being new, we was completely unsure what we was doing and sought a little bit of help and managed to meet up within the game. We started to speak to each other, testing to see if our in game mics was working correctly, please note we was also in team speak too! so pressing a new button in a new game and being confused between the two is easy. We then start speaking with a very nice Military personnel who was more than happy to help. And all of a sudden one of us was kicked/banned (unsure) for 'rule breaking' and then I was confronted by a admin who I can I can only describe as a very angry pub landlord who wants no customers.
Instead of explaining simply to myself and my friend that we had broken the rules by communicating to each other over the mics and we should take some time out and simply research about the server/game/rules. He was extremely hostile and simply EXPECTED us to know how to play the game. He continued his dominant angry pub landlord super admin bad attitude and I simply told him he was a 'dick'. And no, I wont appeal this ban or apologize. He was one of the biggest dick's I have ever met on the internet.
Thanks to the guy who wanted to help us, hopefully you can take the position of the admin in the future and the admin can be made to work in a pub or something.
