New name

So my ign Name is fabian, and my forum Name is fabianpettersson. So is it possible to change it to fabian? I know its taken but I think he is banned and he hasn't been active for a years now.  and I'm a student medic and People are giving me recommendations to the wrong player..

Yes you can change it, go to your account settings and it is under display name

Problem is that my ign is taken, but They Said its was not. So is it possible to get a Staff to change his Name? He hasn't been active for a year and I think he is banned.
