New engine didn't save

So i bought the new engine for my Audi rs6 but it didnt save. Also tried it on the highway but had the same speed.

Is this for all import vehicles?  Atm I don’t think upgrades save on any of them. At least from the merc and Audi (ones that I’ve tested)
