After doing a couple of Gus runs and discussing the island with those I have been over with I have had a couple of ideas on potential island expansions. Firstly I was thinking about fruits that could be harvested on the island in order to make a variety of smoothies with different attributes, fruits such as: Coconuts, Mangos, Bananas and possibly a few others that I cant think of on the spot. Adding these to the island and making variation of smoothies out of them I believe would make the island a more viable and valuable place for those not in gangs who can not access their Chicken man and as previously stated my idea of them was more so to have different "health" benefits to them an example of which being, if you combined mangos and bananas into a smoothie and drank said smoothie you had the speed effect given from a redgull.
On my time on the island in the past I have seen many civs coming over and exploring just to be disappointed when they find out they cant really do anything over there so I think the addition of said fruits would allow business owners to have more business and possibly employee people to go over to the island and retrieve "tropical" fruits to sell and would even be a food source for those on the island to ensure they dont starve to death after long hours over there. This would also increase the demand for boats enabling the boat dealership to be more utilised and have more customers constantly buying different types of boats similar to how imports work with deliveries to the dealership being more often.
Another thing I believe the island could have on it would be a new strain of weed, as a lot of us know on the island there is a huge weed field and similar to other servers a weed picking mechanic could be implemented to harvest weed from said fields, whether it was seeds you get to grow or there is a set of steps that are needed to be followed in order to start the growth process I believe that adding a new strain would bring more variety to the drug market, I also think it would give police a reason to go over to the island rather than just going over to potentially catch those collecting their chicken man runs they would be able to go over and look for those harvesting this new strain of weed.
Another thing that is located on the island is small lock ups around the island which in normal GTA can be used in the Caiyo heist to gain extra cash and tools but I believe in the server that they could have alternative usages. After lock picking the gate and finding items in there that could be of assistance in prison breaks or big bank, I think depending on what staff believe is suitable for a space such as these small gated lock ups that there is pretty much endless possibilities, maybe even having something similar to searching bins in prison that enables you to find things for every day use using the prison "loot pool" so to speak to have a use for them but not make them too powerful. In regards to the lock ups my ideas are pretty limited as I have not thought about them too much but are more of "Oh that caught my eye and I think could have a cool use".
