Name spoofing on teamspeak

Ok I have used the same name in games for the past twenty or so years. I have worked very hard to not do anything wrong while gaming and have never cheated or bad mouthed anybody. I was informed that my name was being used by someone on teamspeak today. When I went on the teamspeak and asked the person to use their own name and to stop using my name they changed their name from "gijoe101" to -BAD-GIJoe101st. To me that is a huge slap in the face. The reason I was given for them using my name was so they would not be disturbed while watching movies. People do not realize when they use another persons name that anything they do reflects on the real person that uses that name. In the future please think before you do something that could ruin the reputation of another member of the community.

I do have the chat log from when I asked the person to stop using my name. It is a user that post on this forum regularly. I will not name names but please don't do it again.

There are plently of names to pick, using someone elses name we treat as trying to give them a bad name unless of course its common like Dave or something.

It was in no way directed at trying to give someone a bad name. It was resolved on team-speak and his name changed back.
