My headset is putting sounds in opposite ear.

Hello.

I have an issue with my headset. Everything in game to my right I would hear to my left. So let's say there's a chopper to my right I would hear it to my left. I asked a few mentors and they asked if it was just arma 3 and they said it was a game issue. I've come to realise it's not just Arma 3 sadly. I was playing Witcher 3 and the same issue is happening. I've tried fiddling with some settings on the corsair control panel but no fixes.

My headset is the Corsair Vengeance 1500v2 wired.

Nope, I think I've fixed it though, I turned 7.1 surround sound on and off

I had the same issue with my old surround sound set and just fiddling with all the background stuff fixed it, but I cannot remember what I did unfortunately.

I had the same problem with my plantronics gamecom 780 headset.
Had to shut down the game and run the surround sound setup thing in windows. (don't know how it's called exactly)
