Multiple characters in different gangs/ profession

Are we allowed to have multiple characters in the same/ different gang or profession ? Let’s say I have 4 characters and I make 2 characters be in triads, 1 in Vagos, 1 is a cop. Is this allowed ?

You may have 1 gang character, 1 police character etc
