Mugging Police

When you kidnap/mug police are you allowed to take all their gear - Guns, Clothes etc along with their car or is there a limit to what can be taken because I don't remeber reading anything about a limit in the rules but I would just like to be sure.

Also I know you cannot Kidnap a PCSO but if police come at you and you can get it into a situation where you have one under gunpoint, can you also use them as leverage in that scenario or not?

Everything bar their backpacks as they’re invisible

Additionally I would tread carefully when dealing with PCSO’s as even holding them up as described could be perceived as hostage taking.

True, but if I am in the middle of a robbery and I sneak up behind an officer(Unknowing it is a PCSO) can I shift G them, and make it clear to the cops, then use them as leverage as this isn't Kidnapping and definitly CANNOT be taken as kidnapping if they aren't in the Rebel equivilant of handcuffs(Sorry I forgot there name xD)

They will always be the only people in blue uniforms, so there’s no chance of mistaking them to be honest.

just because someone is not restrained doesn’t mean they aren’t your prisoner/detainee/hostage. If they do not have the ability/lost their right to leave the immediate area/room and are being forced to stay there then that probably makes them a hostage.

If you’re using them as leverage for a prolonged period of time, i’d Say no. However if it’s a minute or maybe two and they’ve just got their hands up whilst you get their colleagues under wraps, then I don’t see the issue; however it is completely circumstantial and is taken on a case by case basis.

It is fairly obvious to spot a PCSO as they wear bright blue uniforms, unlike other officers. Also, you don't have to put restraints on someone for it to count as a 'kidnapping' as Samat said, be careful with them.

DW as Samat posted a message the same time...

Definition of Kidnapping: The crime of unlawfully seizing and carrying away a person by force or Fraudor seizing and detaining a person against hisor her will with an intent to carry that person away at a later time.

I wouldn't call holding them at gunpoint kidnapping as they are free to run...they'll just geth shot. In the RP scenario I am just going to do it anyway because both sides have an argument and I can clearly find evidence of not breaking the rule, depending on definition. If I can find one definition to prove that what I have done isn't breakign the rules(Which I have), then it cannot be deemed Kidnapping.
