Hey guys!  

Thought I'd throw a cheeky message on to see how everyone is!  

Used to be a medic way back at the start of the year, and had the worst luck in all of Altis. 

Life happened, computer blew up, now I'm on Linux and Arma is not very stable. I also can't get TS3 to work.

I see a Tanoa server is open, really glad to see that. Is the community still buzzing? Any other news that I'm too lazy to look up?

I'll get back in the game if'n I can get a windows box up and running. Maybe even learn to drive well enough to get my RIR (Not gonna happen :p)

Hello, but just to inform you, the tanoa server is currently out of business as management said they would bring it back at some time in the future

 
Welcome back! Please take some time to go over the rules (https://www.roleplay.co.uk/rules) as some have changed recently due to the addition of a red zone.

Anyways, enjoy your stay and i hope to see you in game (if linux will finally allow you to play that is)

 
@FallenYou could be one of 3 Billys :p Glad to see you again, and I'm happy you are still around. When I do get Arma Back, Day 1 will be practising the controls, Day 1.5 will be a Medic application - In my mind, it is the best part of the game, and will be glad to re-prove my epic role-playing ability and Terrible luck - All accompanied by my calm and dulcet tones.

@DSGT PontyPONTY! Yes I am :) Damn NHS with their long wait for revives.... :p  I will be back in full force when I get a copy of windows installed.  I'm determined to get good at chopper-flying, as my RIR skills are lacking.

Well I'll only be around in Police and Staff channels mate, I left the NHS yesterday.

Looks like my amazing newbie guide needs a bit of an update too, specifically some of the locations have moved and there is nothing about the RedZone. I actually cant wait!

Good to see old faces coming back! Don't be afraid to approach the support team if you have any issues in your return to our always lovely community. We also have a community manager, now: FriendlyFireGuy.

 
@EsqyWelcome back!! We missed you mate. As you can see by my shiny tag in my forumname I am no quiet the same rank anymore as I used to be back then :p

About you NHS Application, no worries with that, we have this nice thing called "Rejoining recruitment drive" which means that you can rejoin the NHS at you old rank without doing any Interview or such!

I was considering going for a Training Role just before life got in the way, but even if I return, I doubt I'd be able to get enough guaranteed hours online each week. Shrug, That's a consideration for Future Esqy.  

It looks like I may have TS3 up and running on the Linux box - If I see you online, I'll give you a prod and we can catch up properly and you can fill me in on any gossip from the last (almost) year.

They grow up so fast....

Sweet. I have a date with a lady-friend, so If I do end up being home tonight, I'll see you then :D   

I've not been bowling in years - Wonder if I still know how...
