ASUS VG248QE

P_500.jpg

  • Highly smooth action with 144Hz rapid refresh rate and 1 ms (GTG) response time
  • With an 80,000,000:1 ASUS Smart Contrast Ratio (ASCR) and 350 cd/m square of brightness, it delivers life-like visuals in Full HD 1920 x 1080
  • A comfortable viewing with ergonomic design for swivel, tilt, pivot and height adjustment
  • Featuring ASUS GamePlus function hotkey for comfortable gaming environment and experience
Also recommended that you have a graphics card that supports Displayport and use this cable for the best experience when purchasing this monitor otherwise you will not be able to make use of the 144hz and 1ms function.

Not going to lie the monitor has some features that you may deem unecessary due to not using or needing them, for example the ability to completely rotate the screen into portrait mode and also being able to play in 3D. But thats just my opinion on it as I have absolutely no use for these features. Anyway let me know what you think.

It's going to set you back about £225-£260

You have to turn it on, it is not activated automatically by default. You don't have to worry about it unless you want to use it.
