Mk14(7.62) vs MX(6.5)

completely different guns as they are diferent calibre's... MX is closer range with a larger mag however 7.62 is longer range with greater firepower (distance)... Entirely depends on your personal playstyle.

(MX is more versatile as it is better in most range variants IMO)

Well then why can Mk14 be automatic if not used in close combat?
Never said it couldn't be used in close range, it's just not designed for CQB.. MX has a much faster firing rate with a bigger mag which makes it favourable to me

mk14 will drop people much quicker but is harder to handle. like @Samatlewisssaid, it's all down to personal preference and play style.

Mk14 is a 1-shot most of the time, even when you get a body shot, but because this weapon has that much firepower it cannot be put into your bag. The MX is good for almost everything and can be put in your bag. So just like the other guys said it depends on what you want, do you want alot of firepower but you cannot put it in your bag or do you want a versatile weapon and travel with it unnoticed.

If you like guns with high recoil then the mk14 is for you, if not the MX is better for you. When 50% isn't on I personally buy the mk18 due to it being 230,000 buy price which is easily affordable for most.

MK14 is far superior at long range compared to MX, although both are fairly similar at close range if you can use them.
